Welcome to Bellingrath, a classic Fort Morgan beachfront home equipped to sleep up to 14 guests. With 4 bedrooms, 2 full and 2 half bathrooms, Bellingrath is the perfect beachfront rental for your next family vacation. Enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves and the unobstructed view of the beach from the spacious sun deck. This home is pet friendly so your furry family members can come along, too!
About Bellingrath
Located on the quiet, relaxing beach of Fort Morgan, Bellingrath offers a serene setting far away from the high rises and traffic. Start each day with a cup of coffee under the shade of the partially covered deck or spend time soaking up the sun and enjoying the view. Year after year, guests return to Bellingrath for its charm, happy memories, and stellar location. Imagine being able to take a few steps out the door and fish year-round! Bellingrath offers all this and more!
In the open living area, guests will find plenty of seating, gulf views, and a spacious, open floor plan. Just off the living area is the dining area, with a table for 6 plus additional seating at the bar. The open kitchen offers both gulf and bay views and updated cabinetry. Bellingrath also features a washer and dryer to take care of laundry needs while on vacation.
With sleeping accommodations for up to 14 there's room for everyone. The gulf front master bedroom features a queen-sized bed, gulf views, a TV, and an attached master bathroom. There is a second gulf front bedroom on the other side of the house. Bedroom 2 features beach views, a queen-sized bed, and an attached full bathroom. Bedroom 3 features a queen-sized bed and a full-sized sofa sleeper. It also features a recently added half bathroom. Bedroom 4 is a bunk room, perfect for the kids. It features 2 sets of twin bunk beds and a half bathroom. A living room sofa sleeper can accommodate 2 additional guests.

About Fort Morgan
Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!
Bellingrath is handily located close to several other Harris Properties vacation rentals, including Catalina and Fountain of Youth. If you’re travelling with a larger party of family or friends, reserving these vacation rentals in addition to Fountain of Youth will give you and your guests the option of staying close to one another without sacrificing space, privacy, or comfort in order to be together.
Rental Age Policy
We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes. However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25. We have no exception to this policy.

The house was the Perfect location in Fort Morgan for our family trip. The private beach access we had from the house was amazing. House had everything we could need for the one week stay. The kitchen was well equipped with all needs for cooking and preparing meals. There is a charcoal grill that is provided in the front of the home as well. We did have a small issue with the smoke detector activating a few times while using the dryer. Not a huge deal, But kind of an annoyance. Did swap out the battery thinking it was that. But we deternined it must be fromt the dryer being in use, which was right near the detector. Overall a great stay and would recommend this property to someone else

We recently stayed at Bellingrath in Ft. Morgan. Bellingrath is a great house, with beautiful views and fabulous deck furniture that looks great. The beds are comfortable, couches are nice and the kitchen is well appointed. It looked freshly painted and was very clean. The number of bathrooms (4) is a plus for sure.I have been renting from Harris Properties for ten plus years and they do an amazing job.

We stayed at the Bellingrath, the views were amazing! We saw dolphins and rays, watched the crabs at night (so much fun to watch how incredible fast they are)! Morning coffee listening to the waves and evening cocktails listening to the waves what more could a person ask for! Harris Vacation Rentals customer service was over the top excellent! Thank you for a much needed rest and relaxation!

Place is amazing. Plenty of room for all of us. We had 7. Ocean is out the back door. Best thing about our trip was the dolphins playing and swimming by every day. Definitely recommend this place if your looking for a family time away from the crowded beaches

The walk to the beach was short and easy. The house was clean. Parking was easy with our 3 vehicles. The driveway isn't paved so expect sand when coming and going. Overall we had a great time. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at this beach house. It was well stocked with everything that we needed from the Keurig to the grill! Quiet street and fantastic views! The only improvement would be some higher outdoor chairs to make seeing the view a little easier. The chairs there were low so it was hard to see over the railing. We will be back! Thanks for a relaxing time

Bellingrath on the beach

We stayed at Bellingrath on Fort Morgan beach for a week in mid-August. The location was perfect for us. The large deck and private beach access was great. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, the house easily accommodated our family of eight plus my daughters dogs. My sons- in-law and grandson enjoyed fishing just beyond a sand bar and we all enjoyed swimming in the surf and walking on the beach. During the pandemic, we needed a vacation where we could enjoy the beach but avoid busy public beaches. This was just right!

Bellingrath was a good place. Great beach access, covered deck and view. Would be nice if one could pull their vehicle under the house. Need a king size bed but other than that, this was a good place. Ashley at Harris Properties was very helpful when we first arrived. She stayed late on a Saturday to handle our late arrival and provided her personal cell phone if we needed anything. We would stay at Bellingrath again.

The perfect getaway!! Everything about this experience was easy, from booking to checking out, from A to Z, our stay could not have been any better! This is our second time to vacation with Harris Properties and both experiences have been great. The house was clean and just what you'd expect in a house on the beach. Simple but sufficient

Stayed at Bellingrath for thanksgiving week with 6 adults and 2 children. House is very roomy, beds slept well, kitchen stocked with basics adequate for cooking Thanksgiving dinner for our group. Best part? Walk down the steps from the deck and onto the beach. Great little sandy area for kids to play just off the deck and just a few more steps to the water. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets even though there are several gas/oil rigs. WiFi worked well for us and having a washer and dryer means no laundry when I get home. Bonus Blue Angels practice gave us own air show on a couple of days. We enjoyed our stay very much and we plan to stay again.

The house worked out perfectly for our family of 10. Plenty of room. The only thing I would add is that there be a TV in each room. The little's were not happy at night but that is just our preference. The only thing we found dirty was the extra bedding in the laundry area was covered in dust. I had brought sheets so no BIG issue for us. We will for sure return again. WE TRULY LOVED OUR STAY!!!

Very nice house, spacious, clean and the view from the covered deck - wonderful! Saw many dolphins and shooting stars. The 1/2 baths are a very nice feature in 2 of the bedrooms. Love the open floor plan of LR, dining room and kitchen. There were 8 people in the house and we all had plenty of room!

Our family of nine (three teenagers) stayed in Bellingrath in June, 2014. What a great place to come to relax and enjoy the beach. We spent most of our time on the beach and sitting on the covered back porch. There was so much room for all of us. They outdoor faucet was great for rinsing off the sand before going inside. The inside of the beach house had plenty of room without feeling too crowed. This was our first time to stay at a beach house so we have nothing to compare but, we hope to make this an annual vacation and stay here again. Let me just say the staff at Harris Properties are so nice and very helpful in finding a place that will work for your family. We will continue to use this company in the future.

We have stayed here a couple of times in the last few years. Our friends rent one house and we rent the other. Twice we have rented Bellingrath and Point Clear. I really love the fact that the price is awesome, and that they give us a Hero's Discount because my husband is a vet. I appreciate the upgrades in Bellingrath. It is so nice having 2 full bathrooms and 2 half baths with the 4 bedrooms. The open floor plan is great with the amount of family we have and there is room to entertain our friends and family who are staying at Point Clear. Love having the shower and covered porch since we have 3 little ones under the age of 4. Every morning and evening we would watch the dauphins swim past the house. I have pictures of my nephew swimming not 10 feet away from them. Easy to rent from and very polite. My gran babies will love growing up and vacationing here. Lots of GREAT memories!!

This was our third time to stay at Fort Morgan but the first time we stay on beachfront. It was wonderful! We cooked two days and nights, finding the kitchen very accessible. We always enjoy our time at Fort Morgan. We intend on staying at the Bellingraph again with the entire family.

Fall at Bellingrath

This is our third stay at Bellingrath and plan to return many more times. We are sorry we left the sand on the floors as there was no broom, pan, or mope to clean with. Also the mattresses have started to collapsed in the middle and makes it kinda hard to sleep. Thank you for a great time and will contact you soon for 2016 reservations.

Pleasantly surprised at the space and cleanliness of home. Directly, just steps from the beach, it was perfect. Plenty of room, and pet friendly... it could not have been better. Perfect little beach house for a family getaway. Steps away from a more private and pet-friendly section of the beach near Fort Morgan. The house may be a little older, but everything was super clean and the house was supplied with everything we needed. This was our first trip to the Gulf Shores and we will definitely be back! Wish we would have found Rouses Market and the Sea-N-Suds Restaurant before our last day!

We loved our stay at Bellingrath. The spacious well designed cottage was perfect for three couples. My brother sighted dolphins almost every morning and we all enjoyed seeing the red fox make his rounds in the evenings. Thank you Harris Properties Management for a great stay at Gulf Shores.

Christmas at Bellingrath

Our month's stay at Bellingrath was wonderful! The ocean front view was the best I've had in 25 years of visiting the Gulf Shores/Ft Morgan area.
The home set-up was great for several adult guests - with 2 full baths and half baths in two of the guest bedrooms. If someone has young or adolescent children, the house works well also - with a 4 bed bunk room and fold out sofa in one of the guest rooms.
The kitchen was well equipped and had nice new cabinets and counter tops - I really liked the openness to the large den area. (Management Note: The kitchen was completely renovated in November of 2013.)
The furnishings were nice, without being fancy - it was homey and comfortable - I wasn't afraid to relax.
Maintenance service was prompt - the hot water connection under the kitchen sink broke loose, spewing hot water everywhere. We called Harris and the repairman arrived about 2 hours later. He didn't have the part on his truck, but offered to return later that day to repair. It was about 5 pm then, so we said it was okay to come back the next morning. He arrived 10 minutes before the appointed time - I felt the whole experience was very good. (Comparable to the service provided by larger realty firms in the area.)
Complaints- Sheets didn't fit, none of the "fitted" sheets were large enough - making for corners coming off frequently; if we had had more people, we would have needed more blankets.... as it was, we were fine because we took blankets off bunk beds; I would really appreciate two keys being provided.
A few cleaning supplies would be nice - I bought a toilet brush and cleansers for our stay.
Overall - a great place to stay - I will return!

One of Our Top Vacations!

We loved our vacation in Bellingrath! The beach is so close and it was so nice to be able to leave chairs, umbrella, etc. while going back to the house. The house is nicely furnished and very roomy. We saw dolphins directly out almost every day. The kids had so much fun playing in the sand, collecting shells, and just exploring. They rated the trip second only to Disney World. We will definitely be back!
