Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

We loved staying at pelican view! Easy access to the beach and close to the pool. We also had plenty of bath towels for everyone which was nice. The house also has an under the cabinet ice maker which was very convenient. Can’t wait to come back!

The property was just as advertised, beautiful home just steps from the boardwalk. It was the perfect place for my family. Spacious bedrooms and the kitchen was great. It was fully stocked with any thing you could need. The only complaint I have is that when we arrived all three of the trash cans under the house were overflowing and there were several bags of trash on the ground. We had to take it to the street on our first night so we would have somewhere to put our trash. Other than that, everything was great.

The location could not have been better, close enough to visit everything, far enough away to not have the amount of people in Gulf Shores. The house was clean, all the bedrooms were comfortable and tidy. All of the bathrooms were a good size. Every morning you could get up and look out the front and see the ocean. Our group really enjoyed this location.

While the weather could have been warmer during our stay, we still had a great time. Nice being able to walk out your door, down the boardwalk to the beach ... perhaps about 75 yards or so. Had to call maintenance for an issue with the lock; he was at the property in about 30 minutes and was professional and was able to make a quick repair for us. Would rent again.

I have to say, this may be my favorite house we've stayed at through VRBO. The location was amazing, it was never noisy, the beach only steps away. From the kitchen and living room, the windows provide a view of the Gulf. The house itself was clean, in good condition. This location was far enough from the business of Gulf Shores, yet within easy driving distance to anywhere we wanted to go. My only recommendations are to bring extra blankets if you get cold easily at night. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. I hope to return.

Fantastic home in a great location! The walk to the beach was barely longer than a beachfront home thanks to being right next to the beach walkway. The house was clean and comfy, and we loved the ice maker in the kitchen! The only things I'd recommend to the owners would be an outside shower head for rinsing off after beach trips, and a gas grill would be great. Maybe some “house” beach chairs. My family loved this property and we would definitely rent it again. We also really liked eating at the Sassy Bass Grill nearby.

Located one row back from the beach front homes, it still has multiple beach views. Well appointed and kitchen equipped makes this home a winner. Our experience with Harris was excellent as well. Great family vacation

The house was in great working order. Favorite things, short walk to the beach and the ice machine! All my kids & grandkids came. And the dog! Plenty of space to gather in the living area. and to have some alone time . The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, did I mention the ice machine?? There was a charcoal grill. Only thing I would suggest is a ceiling fan on the porch. The view was perfect for us from the porch and was still able to see dolphins. Definitely would revisit.

I absolutely LOVE Fort Morgan and been going there for 20 years. It took me over a year to get back to Fort Morgan, between COVID and hurricanes! Harris was fabulous to work with. I was originally supposed to go April 2020, but when they closed the beaches because of COVID, Harris offered to refund my money or push my reservation out. So I scheduled for October 2020, well then Sally hit and badly damaged the house I was supposed to go to, along with many others. So again I pushed my reservation out to April 2021. Then they let me know the house was still not going to be ready, this time they found me another house. The house is Pelican View. We absolutely love this house, really beautiful with lots of room. I would stay there again. Throughout the whole ordeal Harris was wonderful to work with and very responsive. I would rent through them again!!

Family of 2 adults, 5 kids, and 1 puppy. Our stay was awesome. Pelican View was awesome. We definitely would love to come back! To preempt this comment - IT'S NOT A COMPLAINT, JUST A HEAD'S UP: The only thing I wish was a bit more obvious earlier on in the process with reading other reviews is that the house isn't supplied with paper (paper towels, napkins, toilet paper) products or hand, dish, laundry or dishwasher soap beyond one pack of each - so if you're staying longer than a day or so, you're going to need to provide that. This was made clear via email prior to the stay, but somewhat vague prior to that and somewhat last minute for prepping for the trip. Beyond that, if you're not familiar with the surrounding area, be advised that aside from a couple small markets and restaurants, most shopping and eating is about 30 minutes away. Aside from that, it's perfect. We saw a ton of dolphins in the gulf, many pelicans...the beach is amazing...we rented a tent and chairs from a local provider and they allow the tent to remain in place all week on Fort Morgan Beach.

This house was way more than we expected. It was AMAZING!!! The walkway to the beach literally starts at the bottom of the steps. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils. Pots and pans could use some updating but they were fine. Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. Location was perfection!!!! The walkway to the beach looked very new. It's not advertised in the article as being that convenient, but literally 3 steps off of the bottom step and you're on the boardwalk to the beach. We will be back again, hopefully sooner rather than later. Our family of 11 enjoyed every minute of it.

My family of 10 adults and 4 children stayed comfortably in this home. Everything you need is provided. LOVE the ice maker!! The access to the boardwalk from the side has been blocked with a railing. We just walked under the house in front of us. There wasn't anyone staying there. Furniture is a little worn, but still comfortable. We had a wonderful time!

Perfect fit The house could not have fit our family more perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, we brought our own griddle and 42 cup coffee maker because we had quite a crew for breakfast every day. The beach was a one minute walk and the sand was so fine it actually squeaked when you walked on it. We had a great time and plan to go back again.
