Whether you are planning a family reunion for your entire extended family and need to sleep twenty or more, or if you are planning that perfect girls’ (or guys’) getaway, we’ve got your large group vacation needs covered here with our Fort Morgan rentals. These larger rentals are great for business retreats, too. The secluded Fort Morgan location will provide a quieter atmosphere, allowing you to focus fully on retreat essentials while still allowing everyone to enjoy everything the beach has to offer. Each rental has a large open floor plan and easily accommodates large gatherings inside.
We have several 6-bedroom or larger rentals available for that large group outing you’re planning. Our reservation team can assist you in accommodating everyone. You can choose from beachfront properties with gorgeous views of the beach or select a slightly more secluded location with easy access to the beach.
Elegant Homes in a Picturesque Locale
Between hours spent paddleboarding, swimming, sunbathing, boating, fishing, or visiting the iconic Fort Morgan Historic Site, our Fort Morgan six-bedroom homes will function as your private oasis.
The exteriors of these homes offer sweeping, expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico’s glittering waves, accented by the bright and cheerful colors of the homes themselves. Our Fort Morgan rentals often come with easy beach access within steps of your front door, in an area renowned for the jaw-dropping beauty of its untouched white sand beaches. Take in the scenic splendor from the breezy open-air deck’s unfettered views, or from the beaches themselves after a brief stroll to the nearest public or private beach access point.
Inside, easy-going beach décor and open layout arrangements create a space ripe for vacation relaxation. Kick back with your guests on plush couches and chairs while watching a movie together on the cutting-edge flat screen television or sharing stories with one another. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided throughout each rental, allowing easy access for streaming your movies or checking your email (just one last time).
Whip up a culinary masterpiece for your guests (or simply reheat your scrumptious leftovers from one of the local Fort Morgan restaurants nearby, like Tacky Jack’s) in the full-sized gourmet kitchen, equipped with top-tier stainless steel appliances and generous countertop space. Take your meal outdoors with a tropical cocktail or an ice cold beer with a sunset view on the side and you have the perfect recipe for your new mental happy place.
Whether you’re just starting your day or you’re about to end it, the immaculate bathrooms in these homes inject a dose of luxury and indulgence into your stay, their resort-quality custom features making it easy to pamper yourself with a soak in the tub or a hot shower. Fort Morgan vacation homes have something for everyone!
Some of these larger rental properties also come with private heated pools, elevators, and covered parking for your convenience. And, every rental has outdoor living space – decks and covered porches – for lounging around after a hard day at the beach.
Finally, when sleep is calling your name, you can head into your private bedroom and fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean, snuggled up beneath the soft covers of your cozy bed for an incredible night’s rest.
As with all of our Fort Morgan vacation rentals, there is something for everyone. The beach will beckon you constantly with its brilliant white sand and bright blue waters. Take a relaxing walk along the beach, swim through the surf, or just sunbathe for a while. Bring (or rent) your paddleboard for some quiet time on the water.
While you are here, you will want to visit the Fort Morgan Historic Site at the end of the peninsula. Named for the Revolutionary war hero Daniel Morgan, this historic fort saw action in the Spanish American War, WWI and WWII. And, Union Admiral David G. Farragut uttered that now famous quote – “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead” – here in the waters off Fort Morgan, during the Battle of Mobile Bay in 1864.
The long peninsula between Gulf Shores and the fort is also home to the Bon Secour National Refuge. The refuge site includes a variety of habitats, not only beaches and dunes, but also scrub forests, wetlands and lakes. Both the fort and the refuge are on the Alabama Coastal Birding Trail, making this area truly a birder’s paradise.
There are a multitude of dolphin and whale watching tours available nearby. And don’t forget your fishing gear, since there are so many opportunities for great fishing here on the peninsula. Don’t worry; you can always rent some equipment from a nearby marina. Fish on your own or charter a deep-sea excursion to test your fishing skills as you try to land amberjack, tuna, marlin, wahoo and more during a day-long adventure you won’t soon forget!
