Succulent, Fresh-Caught Fish and More at Desoto’s Seafood Kitchen

De Soto’s Seafood Kitchen is an award-winning restaurant open daily from 11:00am until 9:00pm.

The lunch menu at De Soto’s Gulf Shores includes hearty sandwiches, refreshing salads, delectable seafood, delicious pasta, and home-style specials. Start off with a salad to kick your appetite into gear, like the Riviera salad with greens, scallions, bacon, cheddar, eggs, almonds, and croutons. Add pecan-crusted chicken tenders, blackened or grilled chicken, or boiled shrimp on top for an additional fee. The house and Caesar salads can also be paired with a cup of seafood gumbo or crab and shrimp bisque for an extra fee.

Sandwiches range from classic cheeseburgers to po’boys and Monte Cristos. Order a crab cake po’boy, or a po’boy with your choice of crawfish, flounder, oysters, or shrimp. Classic pasta dishes like fettuccini alfredo and basil pesto angel hair pasta with Roma tomatoes have the option of grilled or blackened chicken, shrimp, or crawfish on top.

Lunch specials include variations of seafood and chicken, such as flounder broiled in lemon butter or fried, blackened or fried catfish, fried shrimp, grilled chicken or fried chicken tenders, or Chicken Creole—chicken smothered in a spicy sauce made from tomatoes and vegetables and served over yellow rice. Other cuts of meat like country fried and hamburger steaks, country ham, and pork chops will not disappoint.

Of course, what seafood restaurant would be complete without its own dedicated seafood section of the menu? Try shrimp stuffed with crabmeat and wrapped in bacon, royal red shrimp, tilapia, grouper, snow crab legs, mahi mahi, coconut shrimp, fried oysters and crab claws, and crab cakes with remoulade sauce—a house specialty.

Dinner at De Soto’s Gulf Shores highlights items like steamed snow crab legs or royal red shrimp, freshly-caught fish of the day prepared with spices sampling from Cajun, Caribbean, and Mediterranean traditions, and even land lover’s meals with a tropical twist. Hawaiian ribeye marinated with pineapple, Jamaican jerk chicken, grilled chicken breasts, and fried chicken tenders all present great options.
