LUNA’S EAT & DRINK

Joseph Pawlak | December 12, 2022

Luna’s Eat and Drink is a casual sports bar that serves delicious bar food and southern dishes with flair. This family friendly sports bar in Orange Beach has a spacious indoor dining room perfect for watching the game, but you’re going to want to sit outside on the covered deck or the patio to take advantage of the Gulf’s great weather.

Menu Options

Lunch and dinner menus are similar – both filled with fresh fish and seafood options and Southern favorites. There is a kids’ menu and gluten free menu too.

You’re going to want to get several appetizers to start things off; this is Southern sports bar food at its best. You may want to try the Creole BBQ Gulf Shrimp, Fried Onions or Pork Skins, Crab Claws, or the Tomato Pie. You will have to try their take on Deviled Eggs and their Pimiento Hushpuppies if nothing else. There are salads, a soup of the day, burgers and plenty of sandwich options – PoBoys, Crab and Artichoke Melt, Meatball Sub, and the PIGmiento Cheese (pimiemto cheese and bacon!).

Entrees include the Fresh Catch, Fried Shrimp, Shrimp-n-Grits, Grillades & Grits, Braised Beef Pot Roast, and Mac-n-Cheese. And, that’s not a typo, Mac-n-Cheese is an entrée here! Smoked Cheddar Grits, Fried Brussel Sprouts, Fried Okra, or Corn Fritters are just a few of the great sides. You’ll need to leave room for dessert too. The Holy Smoke is layers of chocolate pudding and sweetened cream cheese over a pecan shortbread crust, topped with whipped cream and sweet heat pecans. And, there’s always the Fried Pecan Pie with vanilla ice cream, topped w/bourbon molasses.

Craft Beer & Happy Hour

Two dollar craft beer during Happy Hour! An impressive half of the over 30 craft beer options are from the southeast, including five Alabama Craft brewers: Fairhope Brewing Co. (Fairhope), Folklore Brewing & Meadery (Dothan), Yellowhammer Brewing (Huntsville), Good People Brewing Co. (Birmingham), and Local Big Beach Brewing from nearby Gulf Shores. Order a beer flight so you can try several at a time. Happy Hour is from 2pm to 6pm daily.
