Pizza and oysters may sound like a strange mix, but the combo can’t be beat—especially when you add a cold brew or two to the mix. A favorite of both locals and visitors, Papa Rocco’s has been around the shore since the 1980’s. Come on in and find out why!
Oyster Parmesan, Oysters Alfredo, Oysters ‘Rockyfeller’, and Oysters on the Half Shell are just a few of the delectable oyster specialties available. You can also try the steamed snow crab! During winter months, salmon patties and oyster stew are among the daily specials.
Traditional hand-tossed pies are made to order. You can build your own or try one of Papa Rocco’s specialties like the Flying Tomato or the Chicken Club. Add a nice cold beer or two and you’ve got the perfect meal after a long day of fishing and beachcombing.
No fried foods here! And you can order off the entire menu until midnight. You don’t have to worry if your day’s activities lasted all day, or if you want to take a pre-dinner walk along the beach ‘til way after dark; you can still stop by and have a casual, late meal.
Not feeling like pizza or oysters? Don’t worry, there are plenty of other menu options to choose from. You can start things off with the usual pizza joint appetizers – buffalo wings, stuffed mushrooms and potato skins – or order the combo platter and get all three. Fresh Gulf shrimp (peel ’n’ eat), a variety of nachos, salads and soups, burgers, hot dogs and chili dogs, and sandwiches are all great casual choices. And, if you’re in the mood for Italian, try one of “Mama’s Italian Specialties” which include lasagna, manicotti, seafood pasta and more.
Only a pizza place on the coast would have a day-long Happy Hour all week long – Monday through Friday from 11am until 7pm! Quench your thirst with beer, wine, specialty cocktails and Papa Rocco’s World Famous T.K.O. Punch, which offers 15 ounces of rum and tropical fruit juices in a souvenir tumbler.
