HomeGulf Shores RestaurantsRestaurants with Drive Thru in Gulf Shores

Heading back to your vacation rental after a long day of hiking or playing in the surf? Or maybe you took the entire family to the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo or to The Wharf for an afternoon of zip lining fun. Good for you! I know everyone made some great memories.

But, now the kids are kind of tired and cranky and all you can think about is making it back to your rental before things turn nuclear. It’s also dinner time and while you know everyone will feel better after they eat, the thought of dragging everybody, including yourself, into a restaurant is more than you can handle. No problem. At times like this, every needs a little comfort food, so all you need to do is head to the kid’s favorite fast food place. Luckily, the Gulf Shores area has plenty of the usual fast food outlets complete with drive thrus. (Plus you’re on vacation and it’s ok to eat fast food. You don’t have to eat healthy all the time, right?) Read on to learn about the best gulf shores drive thru restaurants!

The Usual Suspects for Gulf Shores Drive Thru Restaurants

Gulf Shores has so many great seafood restaurants; it can be hard to choose. But, they are dine-in or take-out establishments, although many offer delivery. But, since you’re in the car anyway, why not just use the convenience of Gulf Shores drive thrus. And with everyone hot and bothered right now, things will be easier all around if everyone knows what they want before you even get to the menu board.

Want chicken? Or a burger? Maybe some Chinese? The usual suspects, those wonderful fast food enterprises we all know and love, are here at the beach too. Zaxby’s, Hardee’s, Arby’s and McDonalds, Sonic, Panda Express, and KFC all are represented.

Vacation Rental Conveniences

You know the kids will probably be a little messier than normal, so just put everyone outside. This is the time to take advantage of your rental’s deck or porch. The adults can laze out on the comfy lounge chairs and the kids can sprawl out on the deck. Make it a picnic!

And you don’t even have to use plates or utensils, even though your rental has them. And after everyone is fed and has calmed down, it’s time to relax. Stay out on the porch, and watch the sunset and the stars come out. Or gather everyone together for a movie on one of your rental’s large flat screen TVs. With free Wi-Fi, you can tune in to your favorite streaming service and watch the kids’ favorite movie (again).

Of course, if we’re still dealing with the pandemic, many establishments may have limited menus or hours. For up-to-date information on what is open, give our friendly staff a call!
