For any kind of steak and seafood you desire, including oyster bars and wine bars, Gulf Shores is the place for your epicurean adventure. There are so many places to eat in Gulf Shores Alabama! Most area restaurants specialize in seafood straight off the boat and you can dine indoors or on a deck overlooking the water. Here are a few restaurants (in no particular order) to start your journey.

DAY 1 – The Royal Oyster- Gulf Shores Food

Opened in 2017, The Royal Oyster has already become a local favorite with some of the best Gulf Shores food. This full-service oyster bar and restaurant uses local ingredients and fresh produce. They also offer seafood, steak, and pork and they have an amazing cocktail list. But, if you are craving oysters – in any form – this is the place!

DAY 2 – Sunset Cork Room Restaurant and Wine Bar

This small, intimate restaurant offers unique wines from around the world, and a menu formed from using local organic foods. This sophisticated dining establishment offers salads, small plates (great for pairing with new wines), steak, and rack of lamb.

DAY 3 – Voyagers

Voyagers, in the Perdido Beach Resort, offers dry-aged steaks, fresh local seafood, and an award-winning wine list. All this and panoramic Gulf views too! Truly a dining experience worth trying. It’s one of the favorite places to eat in Gulf Shores Alabama according to tourists.

DAY 4 – SALT at San Roc Cay

At SALT at San Roc Cay, they have it all: fresh local produce, fresh local seafood, and their pasta is made in-house. They also have steak; they were voted #1 Steak in Alabama by the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association in 2018. Located at the San Roc Cay Marina, you can enjoy your dinner and a beautiful view over the marina.

DAY 5 – Louisiana Lagniappe

Also located in the San Roc Cay Marina, Louisiana Lagniappe offers diners fresh seafood dishes created with a Creole flair. A casual, yet upscale waterfront dining experience awaits you at Louisiana Lagniappe.

DAY 6 – Cobalt, the Restaurant

Cobalt is a casual, relaxed dining establishment and offers contemporary coastal cuisine. You can find Cobalt under the Perdido Bay Bridge, which means amazing views of the bay for every table. DAY 7 – Jesse’s Restaurant

Jesse’s Restaurant is in Magnolia Springs, just a quick trip from Gulf Shores. But it will be worth the drive to this local favorite. Opened in 1999, Jesse’s offers unique cuts of dry and wet-aged steaks, bone-in cuts and fresh, local fish. Find out why this restaurant is a local tradition.
