Located right across the street from the world-famous, legendary Flora-Bama Lounge, The Flora-Bama Yacht Club is an open air waterfront seafood restaurant on Ole River in Perdido Key. It’s the place to go when you want pretty river views, a refreshing breeze, good food and a fun, casual atmosphere. Order up a few oysters on the half shell and bushwackers, then sit back and watch the boats and people go by.

Fun and Casual at the Flora-Bama Yacht Club

Come as you are, or as they say at the Flora-Bama, “sandy or fancy.” Arrive on foot, by boat, car, paddleboard, or kayak. Get here however you can! Grab a seat out on the large outdoor deck or beach area, both with plenty of umbrellas and shady spots. No matter where you are, you’ll be entertained by live music and all the river action.

Their Menu

There’s a little of everything here at the Flora-Bama Yacht Club Florida. Everyone in your group will find something they like to eat – and drink – while they’re here. Don’t forget to ask about the specials!

Start your meal off with one of these appetizer choices: Spicy Chipotle Hummus, Seared Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi, Firecracker Coconut Shrimp or Calamari, Greek Shrimp Nachos, Smoked Tuna Dip, Crab & Parmesan Hash Puppies, and Gulf Coast Blue Crab Claws. They offer soups and salads too.

The Flora-Bama is famous for their oysters, and you can get them several ways: Bacon & BBQ Fire-Roasted Oysters, Jalapeno Cheddar Oysters, Char-grilled Oysters, Basil Pesto Oysters, Greek Oysters, Oyster Sampler, and the ever popular Oysters on the half shell.

Entrees include steak (a ribeye and filet mignon), seafood, and more. Choices include Sesame-Wasabi Pea-Crusted Yellowfin, Creole Rigatoni, bone-in Pork Chop, Blackened Gulf Tripletail, and Chicken Pontchartrain.

There are the usual seafood platters with fish and seafood cooked your way, including a Gulf Seafood Trio, and Combo. If you’re looking for something a little lighter, there are several Po Boys, Blackened Shrimp Tacos, Mahi Mahi Reuben, burgers, Tuna Wrap, and a Grilled Mahi Taco.

Leave a little room for a slice of tart Key Lime Pie or Peanut Butter Pie (or get it to go). Or try their Beignet Fries with a white chocolate ganache. Yum!
