Great place for me and my kids. Easily accessible to beach front. House was perfect. Would definitely rent again!

Our family (4 adults, 3 kids under 12) recently stayed at Family Tides. There was plenty of space for all of us. The house is steps from the beach. The kids enjoyed playing ping pong. My standards of cleanliness are high and this house exceeded standards. The towels felt brand new. They were still linty. Bed linens are all white and felt very fresh and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were kids sand toys and beach umbrellas in the ping pong room. Overall a great time

We loved our stay at Family Tides. Came in May to beat the crowds and the price was better! Harris Properties was very responsive and well organized.

Beautiful house right on the beach. The deck overlooking the ocean is a perfect spot to watch the waves roll in. Bedrooms are nice, though both beds were pretty squeaky. Our only other quibble is only offering a single roll of toilet paper or paper towels. Fine for a couple of days stay, but I don't feel I should be buying toilet paper for the price paid. Other than that, a really nice place on a quiet stretch of beach.

Harris Vacations was easy to book through, kept me informed from the time of booking to checkout, and kept the property clean and organized. I would absolutely recommend using Harris Vacations for your vacation rental needs!

We had a wonderful stay at Family Tides for spring break! The cottage was very clean, the views were beautiful, and the easy beach access was amazing. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely stay again. A couple of notes for future guests: there was some sand dredging nearby during our stay, which caused a little debris in the water, but it wasn’t disruptive and cleared up quickly. Also, while basics are provided, you’ll want to bring or order supplies like dish detergent, salt and pepper, paper goods, etc. We also recommend bringing an extra blanket if you like having one — there weren’t any spares at the house. One small thing to mention is there are a lot of family photos throughout the house, which made it feel a little less neutral as a rental. Overall, it’s a great spot for a relaxing beach getaway — we had a fantastic time!

The home was very clean, checkin was a breeze, no issues at all. Master bedroom and bathroom were nice size. Deck space and location were great! Perfect space for our family of 4!

This was spacious and comfortable. Right over the doon was the ocean. The white sand and the emerald ocean was a beautiful sight to wake up to. I did a lot of fishing caught a lot of whiting, some early season pompano, and some ocean catfish while my wife searched the beach for sea shells. Over all what a wonderfull place to stay, clean, private, and comfortable, though it is mentioned there isnt any of the extras you may be used to seeing at other places so be sure to pick up coffee and T.P. for longer stays. Two thumbs up!!

Family Tides was everything we didn’t know we needed. The view and having the beach just steps from the house was such a luxury - especially with young kids. No worrying about parking, packing food, or finding restrooms because you are literally a 60 second walk from house to beach. The house was the cleanest airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! Five stars all around. Not a con, but a note to future guests with kids: bring everything. Basic cleaning supplies, TP, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, dish soap, etc. as they provide only the bare minimum. If you are staying more than 2-3 days you will definitely need it as there are no cleaning supplies in the house at all and being on the beach things get messy quickly. Take advantage of Gulf State Park while visiting. There is a park for kids to play at and they have free bike rentals to explore the miles of paved trails. We LOVED our trip to Gulf Shores and are eagerly looking forward to our next visit!

We absolutely loved this beautiful, spacious and very clean cottage. Just so amazing to be able to stay right on the beach. The back deck and views of the ocean, sunrises and sunsets couldn’t get any better. Hosts were great with very detailed instructions. Perfect and peaceful place that we very much enjoyed!

Great house and location.

We decided we wanted to go with a house instead of a condo due to this being our little girls first beach trip and not knowing how well she would do and I’m so glad we did we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay very clean very friendly atmosphere

My wife and I enjoyed Family Tides. You can’t get any closer to the beach, and the house was very clean. Our only suggestion would be to change the master mattress - it’s quite lumpy.

Family Tides was a wonderful place to stay for our family vacation to Gulf Shores. The property is in a great location, not far from restaurants & entertainment while still being quiet and peaceful. Family Tides is absolutely terrific. Waking up to and ending each day with that view is amazing. We had everything we needed, location was good, and the added outdoor grill for cooking was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back.

Just steps from the beach. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets from the back deck. Perfect location for long walks on the beach. The house was squeaky clean with comfortable beds. Nice open space and family friendly. Bring your fishing gear for fun surf fishing.
