About Gulf Getaway

Gulf Getaway is a home located in Fort Morgan, AL. Gulf Getaway is equipped with 4 master bedrooms, 2 balconies, and amazing Gulf Views. Guests will find Gulf Getaway to be decorated in style and elegance with every detail thoroughly thought out.

On the second level of the home guests will find the HUGE master suite. The master suite is equipped with a queen bed to sleep 2, an LCD TV, a private balcony and an attached bathroom with a double shower. The master suite is the only room located on the second level of the home.

On the main level of the home, guests will find a large, open living area with a large LCD television. There is balcony access on the main level. The balcony area is the perfect place to relax and listen to the waves after a long day in the sun! Guests will find a large kitchen area with plenty of counter space perfect for preparing a savory meal. There is bar seating for 4 in the kitchen area. The dining area is equipped to seat 10 on a beautiful wood table. There is a full-sized washer and dryer and a half bath on the main level, along with 3 bedrooms.

Bedroom #2 is equipped with a queen bed and a bunk bed to sleep 4. Bedroom #2 is also equipped with an attached bath and an LCD TV. Bedroom #3 is equipped with a king bed and a bunk bed to sleep 4. Bedroom #3 is also equipped with an attached bath and an LCD TV. Bedroom #4 is equipped with a king bed to sleep 2, an LCD TV, and an attached bath.

There is parking for up to 6 cars.

About Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, The Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

Rental Age Policy

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes. However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25. We have no exception to this policy.

I just wanted to Thank Harris Vacation Rentals for the spectacular help on finding us the perfect house to rent at a moments notice as we had to vacate another rental the day of due to it being unlivable. They found us this beach house and It was fabulous, very clean and fully stocked. Location was phenomenal as well. They truly saved our beach vacation from disaster. The house was great. Beach view was beautiful. The beds were very uncomfortable. The couches are pretty worn out. If the mattresses are replaced we would most definitely stay again. They only provide 1 towel per person which we were short . I did call and request extra which they brought them that day. The management company was good about responding. The location is awesome and the house is nice and spacious.

We had a great time with plenty of room. Very clean and a wonderful view of the gulf. We couldn't quite see the beach but it was easy to get to. We walked the beach every day. I hope the non stick skillets have been replaced since they were all peeling and did not sit well on the stovetop. When they say what paper products they leave for you, it's exactly that. No extra. We did love the area and felt safe and comfortable. It's a beautiful place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Harris Properties! We were evacuated from Hurricane Ida and needed a place to fit 11 people and this property was what we found. It was such a beautiful place and fit us all cozily! We loved the location, it was so quiet and relaxing and the beach was gorgeous! The people at Harris Properties were very prompt in their communication and went out of their way to help us during a difficult time. My only complaint is that the bedroom we stayed in (middle downstairs) had no curtains so it was super bright and our kids were up with the sun, which was hard with multiple families staying together. Also, the storm knocked out the WiFi and no one was able to fix it during our 7 day stay which was also difficult with 11 people. However, both of these things were minor for us in the grand scheme and we'd definitely be back.

The house was in a nice quiet location, with a path that led from the house to the beach just one street over! Everyone in our party was very pleased to have their own rooms with bathroom attached, and I received compliments on my house selection multiple times this trip. It was a nice getaway without being around all the touristy places but they were close enough to drive to without being too out of the way.

Only complaint Is 1 role of tissue paper per bathroom is ridiculous. 2 pods of laundry detergent not enough for a week and could use more dishwashing detergent.

Great home for a relaxing family vacation. Good space and well equipped. Beautiful view of the gulf with convenient beach access. Beach is clean and not over crowded. As close as you can get to a private beach. Trip was cut short by Hurricane Delta but we hope to be back.

Great for the 1st four days, then the last 2 days were rainy:( We hung out at the beach, visited alligator alley, hangout, drank, played cards! We created a "float your stick" race (high tide) and used our boogie boards with our family.

Harris Properties was very easy to work with. We had a little trouble getting in due to the code I was emailed not being correct, but we were able to get in touch with someone and they got us a new code. The property was very clean and beautiful. We were missing a remote to turn one of the fans on. I contacted the number for maintenance and they said that they would send someone out with a new one, but never did. That was minor but others in the property with us weren't happy about it. The walk to the beach wasn't bad and the beach area was never super busy. So over all I would definitely stay here again.

This home is absolutely beautiful! It was everything we wanted! The house itself is perfect! We loved the area. Ft. Morgan is much more quiet & serene than staying in Gulf Shores itself. But it was still a short drive away to do our shopping. We highly recommend this home!

We loved this beach house! Everyone from the senior citizens to the little grandchildren were glad we stayed here. Because the location is away from commercial tourist spots, this beach house allowed us to just kick back and relax - with a slow pace in life. We could have easily stayed another few days.

Wonderfully Relaxing

We absolutely loved this house . It was perfect for our yearly family getaway. The rooms were clean, fresh, and nicely decorated. The bunk beds in the rooms were perfect for our 3 grandsons . The living , dining and kitchen openness was great to keep an eye on the toddlers at all times . I also lived the upstairs bedroom and balcony for a little grandparent privacy at night when the kids and grandkids were headed to bed . The only thing that would have added to the relaxing experience would be a gate on the first level deck to block off the staircase outside so that the kids (toddlers) could play on the deck without us worrying about them running to the staircase . I would so recommend this property to any family . It was absolutely wonderful

Four families flew in from all over the country for a family vacation. This location was an absolute paradise! The home itself was more than accommodating to all of our families. We were in walking distance to the beach which had incredible white sand and crystal clear blue skies. Food and activities were less than a 30 min drive. I highly recommend this unit.

We stayed at the house for a full week. The house was perfect for our large family, and within a close walk to the beach. The only negative that I had, was that my door code that was provided didn't work. I had to call the office on a Sunday. After a few minutes, I spoke with a helpful representative and was giving a new code. Overall, we were very pleased with the property.

This home was gorgeous! My family and I stayed president weekend and just loved it. The home was perfect, plenty of room very clean, and great location. We did not need anything except more time. Great home in a quiet area.

The house was just as described on the website. It was new, clean, spacious, and in a quiet area. We had no complaints, other than the no-see-ums (I believe a welcome email had bug spray as a suggested item to bring). So the bugs are not a complaint against the house or owner, but we do wish we would have known that they were a serious annoyance, at least during that time of year. Standard bug spray seemed to work just fine against them. Thanks.
