Welcome to Keep it Simple, a beautiful home just steps from the gorgeous beaches of Fort Morgan! Keep it Simple 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with sleeping accommodations for up to 10 guests. Keep it Simple is located on a quiet street that ends at the beach, a 30-second walk from the front door! Bring up to two dogs (for an additional pet fee) and the whole family can truly Keep it Simple at this fresh, beach retreat! Newly added private pool with heating or cooling option for a fee!

About Keep it Simple

With all the comforts of home, Keep it Simple is the perfect spot for a pet-friendly beach getaway! Located on a quiet street, guests can enjoy the sound of the waves and the famous gulf sunsets in the evenings from the deck.

Inside, Keep it Simple is the picture of perfection! Upon entering the home, guests are greeted with cheerful beachy decor and brand-new furniture. With ample seating and plenty of light, the living room is the perfect spot to relax and watch a movie on the large TV. The living area also features a pull-out sofa to sleep, 2 guests.

Across from the living area, are the open dining area and kitchen. Have a seat at the dining table or the island and enjoy a freshly prepared meal. The fully-equipped kitchen features everything needed to prepare a meal just like at home, stainless steel appliances, cookware, dishware, and small appliances.

Down the hall is the master suite, which features a king-sized bed and a large-screen TV. The attached private bath features dual sinks with granite vanity and a large, walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 features a queen bed to sleep 2. Bedroom 3 features one set of bunk beds, and an additional full-sized bed to sleep 4 total guests. The 2nd bathroom is located in the hall and features a granite single vanity and tub/shower combo. Keep it Simple also features a full laundry room.

Underneath the home, guests will find a shady place to park and an enclosed outdoor shower perfect for rinsing off the sand after a long day in the sun!

The driveway can accommodate up to 4 vehicles.

About Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

Rental Age Policy

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes. However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25. We have no exception to this policy.

Great location to the beach, maybe took 1 minute. Quiet neighborhood, while still being dog friendly. Great sunset/sunrises. Relaxing drinking coffee and listening to the waves from the front porch. Great customer service, we didn’t realize we had to ask for the pool heater to be turned on, but they took care of us real quick. Would stay again.

Highly recommend! The beach house is barely a minute walk to the beach. Access to your own pool is great. The interior was nice and clean. This is a great place for a vacation. The only thing missing was provided beach necessities such as umbrellas and chairs.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our nine day stay. The bedrooms were roomy enough for everyone. The pool was an excellent added bonus! The walk to the beach was only one or two minutes. The outdoor shower saved us so much time with sand clean up. My little dog loved it too! We cannot wait to come back next year.

Perfect low key location and house was so clean and very nice. A quick walk to the beach and no crowds. A few places nearby to eat, but definitely not the chaos of orange beach or gulf shores. If you’re looking for a nice, quiet location, this is it!

We have used Harris vacation rentals for the last 3 years in Fort Morgan and we have never been disappointed. We love the Fort Morgan beaches. We stayed at Keep it Simple this year for our family vacation. It was a very short walk to beach which is what we always look for when we rent. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. Loved the outside shower and patio downstairs. We brought our own cooking set up for a shrimp boil and it was perfect to do that outside downstairs. We highly recommend Harris Properties

The property was in excellent condition when we arrived. Very clean and it was stocked with everything we needed and more. From kitchen supplies to beach supplies. It was a very short walk to a nice local beach. While the water was too cold for the adults, the kids were having a blast everyday. They really enjoyed the beach toys in the storage room and we loved the beach wagon that helped haul them and the chairs that were provided. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that we will keep in mind. The property is a 30 min drive from large chain businesses/grocery stores but it isn't a deal breaker by any means. Highly recommend this place!

House was very clean had a great floor plan and the beds were very comfortable. This house being a new build gave the home a nice feel especially in Fort Morgan where you can run into old homes that need updating and cleaning. We had 4 adults and our two dogs and this house was a perfect setup with plenty of room for all of us. It was just a easy short 3-5 min walk to the beach. There is a downstairs closet where you can lockup and store your beach stuff and there is a downstairs fully functioning shower with hot water. This was very nice to have.

Keep It Simple was exactly what we were looking for. Private, easy walking distance to an uncrowded beach, and peaceful. KIS is just 5 houses from the dune/beach access. Front deck is great spot to watch & listen to the ocean. Covered parking for 2 vehicles. 2 handy outdoor conveniences: a short hose at bottom of steps for washing off your feet upon return and a private outdoor shower that is really helpful. The small storage area with beach toys/boogie boards is an appreciative touch. Also, house is just 4 min from the Dauphin Island/Ft. Morgan ferry dock. Fantastic property! Highly recommended.

Family Spring Break

This house was an absolutely perfect beach getaway. We had three young children and two adults and fit in the space well. The dining area is a bit tight but we made it work. There's a picnic table and plenty of outdoor seating! Kitchen comes well stocked. Our kids loved the massive amounts of sand toys and the beach wagon was an awesome perk too! 2 min walk down the stairs and to the beach. Keep in mind, it is a bit of a drive (30 mins) to get back into the town (gulf shores) for big grocery shopping. But we found that we really didn't need/want to leave Fort Morgan much...it offers nice dining options and cute little grocery options! The house was a perfect beach getaway! Highly recommend

Perfect Family Beach Getaway

This house has it all for a family beach getaway- steps to the beach, sand area in the backyard, picnic table, an outdoor shower, an outdoor fridge, a bunk room and more! The home also had everything you would need for the beach with chairs, a canopy, a wagon and beach toys! All of these items are such a bonus when traveling with kids. On a holiday weekend, we practically had the beach to ourselves. We had 3 adults and 2 kids, and we all comfortably fit in the home. The kitchen and living area was a perfect size. The brand new home was very clean and we felt very safe in the midst of a pandemic. The backyard was perfect with the sand, grill, driveway and side yard. It had all of the outdoor necessities for a wonderful beach house weekend. We loved "Keep It Simple" although there was nothing simple about it...it has everything you need and more! The kitchen is stocked with every essential item. The neighbors are very friendly. We had great communication with the property management group. We absolutely loved our stay on this property and would highly recommend this home!

Our initial reservations for a beach house was canceled due to hurricane Sally. Harris Properties moved us to a different beach house in order to keep us in the Fort Morgan area. The house they moved us to was brand, decor was really nice and very close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. I have used Harris Properties now for about 4-5 years and have always been happy with them.

My favorite part of this home is being so close to the beach you can hear the sound of the waves. Such a short walk to the beach it's easy to set up for the day.

We were so excited about our family vaction and that we had found a house on the beach, pet friendly and a location that would allow us to bring and park our boat for the duration of the trip. Unfortunatly, because of Hurricane Sally, we had to cancel our trip. Harris Properties did and excellent job communicating with us on a daily basis. At first, our trip was postponed to see what the storm was going to do, then eventually we had to cancel. Harris Properties was professional, quick to respond to all of our inquiries, promptly refunded our money and they will be the very FIRST call that I make next time I plan a family vacation.

Lovely Little Beach Home

This house was spotless and brand new! The out door shower is an amazing experience and it really is a 30 second walk to the beach. The rooms/ space was a little smaller than the photos online make it seem, but for four friends it was fine. I had originally thought about bringing my family but the kids would have been on top of each other, so I'm glad it worked out to be four adults. The furniture and appliances were in great condition. I cannot say enough great things about this home. The street is quiet, and I know this for sure because I've stayed in other houses on this street as well. Highly recommend this house for 3-4 people.

House was petty, looked to have been updated recently. Everything was clean. Big plus-- House on dead-end street with very little traffic.... One small issue was the one bathroom did not want to flush very good. Overall, we would book again.
