Welcome to Morning Glory, a beautifully renovated beachfront home in Fort Morgan. Morning Glory will comfortably sleep 12 guests and it is pet-friendly for up to 2 dogs (for an additional fee.) About Morning Glory

Located directly on the beautiful beaches of Fort Morgan in Gulf Shores, AL, Morning Glory offers guests the perfect opportunity to enjoy Gulf views and sunshine while relaxing in a gorgeous, renovated beach home. The gulf-facing porch provides guests the perfect spot to relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy the year-round sunsets while listening to the sound of the waves. Under the house, guests will find a picnic table and a grill perfect for a family picnic! There is also an outdoor shower which allows for a quick rinse off after enjoying a day at the beach! Access to the beach is easy, just step outside from this pet-friendly Gulf Shores vacation rental!

After a day of fun in the sun, there is nothing better than coming back to this gorgeously designed, coastal beach retreat! Morning Glory features beautiful furniture and comfortable mattresses throughout the home. The open living area offers plenty of seating, a large TV, and beautiful beach views with balcony access. The living area flows into the dining area which features seating for 10 at the two dining tables and additional seating for two at the bar. Morning Glory’s kitchen is fully equipped and has plenty of prep space for guests to prepare a savory meal. 

Morning Glory features 4 bedrooms to comfortably sleep 10 guests with additional sleeping for 2 in the upstairs hallway. The master bedroom is located on the main level of the home and features clear Gulf views, porch access, and a private bathroom. Bedroom 2 is located on the main level of the home and features a king-sized bed and an LCD TV. Bedroom 2 has a private door leading to the hallway bath. Bedroom 3 features 2 extra-long twin beds and an LCD TV. Bedroom 4 features 2 extra-long twin bunk beds, an LCD TV, and a sofa making the upstairs area a great place for the kids to hang out and watch a movie. Bedroom 4 has an adjacent private bath. There are 2 additional twin beds in the upstairs hall as well. Bedroom #3 and the hallway nook will share the upstairs hallway bath.

About Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

Rental Age Policy

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes.  However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25.  We have no exception to this policy. If you are found to not be in compliance with this policy, you will be immediately evicted from the premises without a refund of any amount.

We really enjoyed our stay at Morning Glory. The house is an easy walk right on the beach. Plenty of seating on the deck with a great view of the ocean. We saw dolphins and many fish everyday. The house is comfortable and was clean. We would stay again.

Morning Glory is by far the best house we’ve rented in all the years we’ve been coming to Ft Morgan! The location is gorgeous, the home is well appointed, equipped and taken care of. We were there with our children, their spouses and our 5 grandchildren, it was perfect for our family. Our only “complaint” is that the couches and cushions in the chairs in the living room are worn but that’s to be expected in a well used rental and was not a problem. The beds were very comfortable! We will definitely be back to Morning Glory next year!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Morning Glory. It was spacious, airy and comfortable. The bunk room was especially nice with a lot of room and an upstairs balcony. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of room for everyone to eat. This area of the beach is quiet and family friendly. I do wish we have stayed a little closer to Gulf Shores, as trips into town are not quick, but if you’re looking for an escape away from it all, this is the place! And there are plenty of good restaurants around.

We had a blast at this property. We only booked it for a weekend. The check-in was easy and the house was fantastic. Very clean and spacious. Definitely big enough for two families. Being that close to the beach is so wonderful. The best part is there is no house behind it, so you won't have traffic traveling to the beach. The house is not brand new but clearly renovated and clean. We counted 12 beds. 4 bathrooms. No complaints and we will stay with Harris Vacations again!

This was a very difficult time for me and the the fam, especially for children, during the 1st mother's day without mom. The location of this property was perfect, their mom was full spirited and loved bright colors, we pulled up to the house next door, I said I guess we're here guys, one of the kids said I wish it was that one!(pointing at the correct one) IT WAS (CONFIRMATION LOL). ALL STARS , location, view, rooms with views, very clean family room and deck was very accommodating for gathering!

Our stay was amazing! We stayed in Morning Glory and it felt like we were on our own island. We were 25 minutes from everything in Gulf Shores (was not a bad drive to go to dinner at all!) so it was quiet around us. We literally walked off our back porch onto the beach. You have all of the beach in front of your house giving you all the room for big families or groups. There is definitely enough parking for more than 3 cars! The kitchen came with everything we needed to cook. You don't need to bring anything. Having 2 refrigerators was GREAT! The dining room table fit all 11 of us for dinner. Gave us plenty of room for everything we needed. The rooms are big and the beds are comfy! Love how the washer and dryer (very nice Samsung front loaders ) are in the bathroom downstairs. Made for easy clean up. Harris Vacation Rentals was great to work with! Upon arriving, our door code did not work. I called the number given in the email and my issue was resolved in a matter of 3 minutes. I appreciated that! They did not bother us a lot during our stay. We got a text checking to make sure we were having a good time and then a text with a check out reminder. Love the text capabilities. I will definitely be keeping this place on the top of my list for the future. Thank you for making our vacation wonderful!!

Walter my 6 lb yorkie and myself spent 2 winter months in this beautiful beach house. It has everything that any large group would ever need and is especially kid friendly. The condition of the house is like new and the gulf view is stunning. I have to point out the hand painted decorations throughout the house, they really add to the personality of the property.

This was the perfect beachfront property for our group of 10. Being beachfront is a game changer! Not having to pack to go out to the beach and being able run back and forth between the house and the ocean in just few steps was amazing, especially with kids! There are some updates that could be done, but overall this was an amazing property. We will definitely be back to Morning Glory!

We use Harris Vacation Rentals each time we visit Ft Morgan. They have the best selection of beach homes & condos. I was super worried about the threat of bad weather (Marco/Laura) on our last trip, but Harris kept steady communication coming to us via emails & texts. We ended up having some of the best weather of any of our previous beach trips, but I thought it was very personable for them to stay in touch with us prior.

Great vacation home as the location to the beach is perfect. The size of the house was great for our family of five, it was clean, and had plenty of essential amenities provided. All of the beds that we used were comfortable and clean. The private drive to the house from Hwy 180 is a nice bonus because there is no traffic around. The only issue we had was that the charcoal grill was not usable because it was rusted out and yucky. Not bad odds at all! We are planning on staying at this house again next year, it was that good of a stay to us.

Morning Glory was in a great location secluded from the busy area of Gulf Shores but Restaruants near by and just a short drive to Gulf Shores. The house was everything we expected and had everything we needed. We had a minor issue with the oven not working and Harris got someone out the next day to fix it! Very Pleased with our stay!

Great place for a long weekend getaway. This is a very comfortable house with lots of sleeping space. It's right on the beach. We were a little disappointed that the upstairs balcony was closed. We love that they allow dogs. You might want to bring a child gate to keep your dogs on the porch if you have pets.
