This'll Do
**Featured on HGTV's Renovation Series Battle on the Beach**
Down South, we're known for runnin' our words together. This'll Do is short for 'This Will Do." With an open floor plan and a huge front porch, we promise you will find it easy to relax and put your feet up at this wonderful, beach front home. With sleeping accommodations for up to 7 people, This'll Do makes it easy to enjoy your whole family at this beachfront cottage. It is also in the Fort Morgan of Gulf Shores, away from the crowds and large condo buildings. You will feel as though you have your own private beach.
There is parking for up to 3 cars.

About This'll Do
The master bedroom has a king bed, bedroom 2 has a twin over full bunk. The living room also features a sleeper sofa to accommodate two more guests. It is also in the Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores, away from the crowds and large condo buildings. You will feel as though you have your own private beach at That'll Do to soak up the sun and enjoy the gulf breezes!
About Fort Morgan
Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes. However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25. We have no exception to this policy.

Stayed at This’ll Do in Fort Morgan and it was a beautiful location. Quieter and more secluded! The house was immaculately cleaned before we arrived and was perfect for our week on the beach. We enjoyed lots of long walks.

I wanted to take a moment to do a quick review on the beach house we recently stayed at. We understood prior to arrival that it had been recently remodeled, however it beyond exceeded our expectations. It was stunning and the location was absolutely perfect. We did notice that one screen door had just been replaced, but the actual screen had not. The other screen door needs the screen better installed because the wind blew it and I was able to put it back in tack. The only...and I say only thing was that the grill didn't have propane. I went and switched the tanks, so it's full now. Those things are minor, very minor. Overall, we would definitely rate this experience a 10/10! On the day of arrival I did call to see about a possible early check-in and Abby was extremely customer service friendly, you need to retain more staff like her. The purpose of this trip wasn't to just take a vacation, but to take time away with the family from the recent loss of my father in law & mother in law who passed 3 weeks apart 3 months ago.This house gave us a start in the healing process to make memories they would want. (Gulf Shores was their favorite place and they visited yearly) I deeply thank you all for the excellent experience from start to finish. Again, the home & location is stunning and we will be looking to book the exact house next year! Feel free to add this experience on any other platform.

This is a great location if you love the beach. The beach is right down the stairs. Short walk to the water. Beach is beautiful and not over crowded. The house had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this house to everyone! It's a perfect getaway!

We LOVE Harris Property. We have been using them for 10 plus years - all in Fort Morgan with the one exception of Gulf Shores. We love Fort Morgan. We had a great stay - the shower stalls are very small, but not really a problem. Harris Property responds quickly with any problems - including getting a new dishwasher during our stay. The Harris people are extremely nice. We will continue to use Harris. Thanks for providing us with a wonderful stay!!!!!!

We stayed at This'll Do this past weekend and had the most relaxing time! We were greeted with a group dolphins jumping out in the water and the most beautiful sunset. I highly recommend this property or any other of the Harris Vacation Rental properties for a great stay.

Great open space. Great view and wonderful being on the beach. I wish there was a broom indoor and outdoor to help deal with sand. And a hose at the bottom instead of just a spicket. That way it would be easier with sand. These are all minor considering this place was amazing. DEFINITELY WILL RECOMMEND

Great Location - Excellent views. This house isn't just at the beach, it's ON the beach. At certain tides the water is right at the deck pilings. Back deck is the massive and inviting. Kitchen is stock with all the amenities and the WiFi and cable TV worked great. There's a wonderful restaurant / grocery store within walking distance. Simply put, this place has it all. The Harris team goes the extra mile to accommodate their guests.

The house is right on the beach and water with an excellent deck. Being pet friendly was a big plus too as I was able to bring my dog and take him on beach walks. House was well equipped with everything you could need to be comfortable.

Step off the deck and you are ON the beach. No walking across any streets or through other properties. Nope. You're already there. Really enjoyed the very large deck which provided a perfect view of the water, sand, and sunrise/sunsets. Would definitely book this house again.

Well, I'm back home from Gulf Shores. Stayed at the This'll Do this past weekend. Such a charming, awesome little beachfront home. Completely remodeled inside, super clean, great open layout. Loved spending time on the newly built deck where I had a continuous breeze from sun up to sundown. Loved so much decided to stay an extra day once I got there. Just didn't want to leave!

Peaceful stay

My Husband and I stayed here with our fur baby. It was so peaceful to wake up each morning and have a cup of coffee while having a front row seat to the beach. Even the living area gave us amazing beach front views. It was partially secluded perhaps due to the season but we had an amazing time. It was much needed. Highly recommend a stay Here

I you want a perfect place on the beach, This'll Do, for sure!

This beach house and it's twin "That'll Do" are both within a frisbee throw of the sea. In high summer you'll get the sunrise and the sunset from your deck. We saw dolphins playing in the surf every morning and pelicans dive bombing the sea constantly. It is heaven.
They are probably the last two houses to resist the "tear down and remodel" bug that has hit the rest of the beach, so be prepared for charming comfort instead of hi-tech luxury. Everything was clean and functional, though. Wifi was fast and easy to connect to, TV had a decent amount of channels to choose from, bring your own stereo if you need music.
With Sassy Bass within walking distance, you don't even have to worry about the long trek to Gulf Shore supermarkets to stock up the fridge. They sell everything you need and have a cocktail bar and restaurant, if you don't feel like cooking at all.
We were a little concerned having read some recent reviews citing the state of repair and decoration as being substandard, but the house has either been recently decorated throughout and given new window treatments; or the reviewers were grinding an ax because of some other issue.
The deck is weathered and rustic - if you can't handle that, then maybe you would be more comfortable at one of the resorts, with the rest of the herd.
Be careful when arriving at the house for the first time, the hard standing driveway does not extend all the way to the house, and you will need a 4X4 to navigate the sand.
We hope to make this an annual booking. The weather, location and accommodation were exactly what we needed.
Note: Norman, thanks for your kind comments about This'll do. You are right, this is a charming little beach bungalow, nothing fancy but we have guests like yourself that love it, year after year! The driveway ends about 35 feet from the house (it gets eaten away by high tides).

WONDERFUL TIME

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved being so close to the beach. Thank you for allowing us to bring our beloved pet. She had so much fun. It was her first trip to the ocean.
We arrived late and with our poor eyesight we overshot the drive way and ended up in the sand. We called a Tow Truck to get us out. $200
I would suggest putting up a barrier or fence at the end of the driveway. An information book with local attractions and places to eat would have been really nice to have.

We loved this place, very clean, right on the beach, had everything we needed. The deck was great to watch the sunrise! Just be careful if you come late and night and it's dark - the driveway is not well lit and we ended up in the sand!

If you like the beach, you can't get any closer than this house! The location is out away from the condo crowds (you don't have all of the crowding issues on the beach)! Its location is still close enough to Gulf Shores attractions that it is not an issue (20 min drive). This house is perfect for 2 families with children. Plenty of room for everybody!
