Welcome to Big Beach House, a unique 6 bedroom, 6.5 bathroom luxury home with a private pool that sits just steps from the Gulf of Mexico! This home features a unique floor plan and was previously a bed and breakfast. With three levels, multiple decks, and a screened-in patio, this home is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the waves. Whether you prefer lounging by the pool or sticking your toes in the sand, Big Beach House is the perfect place for your next family getaway, group retreat, or multi-family vacation that can accommodate up to 16 guests. 

About Big Beach House

Big Beach House is located in Fort Morgan, offering exceptional views of the Gulf of Mexico. This quiet peninsula allows guests to enjoy the white sand beaches away from the crowds and congestion. The private beach boardwalk for Big Beach House is connected to the private pool so you can easily walk right to the beach. 

Enjoy the views of the emerald waves over coffee on the screened-in porch, from the pool or third story sun deck! The large, open floor plan allows you to enjoy the beach views from the living area, kitchen and dining area. The dining area offers plenty of seating for guests of up to 8 to enjoy a meal with a view. The kitchen is absolutely stunning and provides ample space to prepare meals. Features include: upgraded stainless steel appliances, two ovens, dishwasher, refrigerator, significant counter space, bar seating, breakfast nook and ice maker.

With sleeping accommodations for up to 16 guests, there is plenty of room for a multi-family vacation. Bedroom 2 is located downstairs fully equipped with a Queen bed, with smart TV, closet and attached private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bedroom 3 is also downstairs fully equipped with two twin bunk beds- sleeps 4, smart TV and attached private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Big Beach House also has a half bathroom in the hallway off of the living/dining area on the first floor. 

Bedroom 4 is located on the second floor, fully equipped with a king bed, smart TV, attached private bathroom with a walk-in shower and access to a screened-in porch with exceptional beach views. Bedroom 5 also located on the second floor, fully equipped with a king bed, smart TV, attached private bathroom with a shower/tub combo and access to a shared screened-in porch with bedroom 4. 

Bedroom 6 is located on the third floor, fully equipped with a king bed, smart TV, two chaise lounge chairs and attached private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The master suite is also located on the third floor, fully equipped with king bed, smart TV, master den, access to top sun deck with exceptional beach views and attached private bathroom with an oversized, walk-in shower.

About Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

From the pre check-in communication to when we checked out, our stay was the very best. The house was stunning-hardwood flooring, a well-stocked kitchen, bedrooms that felt like private retreats, floor to ceiling bookshelves with so many titles to borrow, and your choice of porch or balcony to curl up and read/doze in the sun/view the spectacular view. The pool was just steps down from the back door and then on out onto the boardwalk to the beach. Take a left and You’ll soon reach the Bon Secour section (wildlife refuge) of the beach along which all you’ll see is sand, dunes, birds, and the most peaceful quiet to hear the waves. It was nice to get away from the busyness of Gulf Shores but feel close enough for a quick drive in for groceries or necessities. Communication with the rental company was great. I didn’t have any questions as there was more than adequate information given up front. However, I felt confident that, if there had been an issue, it would have been addressed quickly. We will definitely return here in the future. Our family stayed with 2 other families and both gave a “10/10” rating and would come back!

Beautiful, spacious home with a lot of character. Lots of privacy. The large screened in deck with hammock was wonderful for all of us to sit around, play games and visit. We had 8 adults and 6 children and had plenty of room for all. It was clean and charming and perfect for large family vacation. There were lots of stairs to climb getting into the house so keep that in mind when considering grandparents or small children. There was a dollar store maybe a half mile away for supplies. Overall a great experience. Owners were friendly and responsive to all questions and minor issues were addressed quickly.

This house was amazing. I was a little worried about the three stories plus stairs down to the pool but it ended up being perfect. Grandparents on the first floor with teenagers that wanted to stay up later and use the kitchen. Younger kids that parents wanted to get to bed upstairs where it was quiet. I am tall so I loved the high kitchen counters. Might be hard if your petite but we had no complaints.

Our family of 15 (8 adults & 7 children, ages 71 to 3) spent a week at the Big Beach House. It was our first vacation in the Gulf Shores area and we really enjoyed it. The home easliy accomodated us. The individual thermostats for each floor were a real plus and the beds were comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the beach.Harris Properties was quick to respond to two minor maintenance issues (dryer and TVs not working).The grandkids had a lot of fun in the pool. It needed to be vacuumed when we arrived on Saturday, but the pool cleaning service did not vacuum it until Wednesday. It would be a plus if Harris Properties would take over management of the pool cleaning.The beach was nice and not too far from the home (maybe 500 feet on the boardwalk). It will not be long until the bordwalk will need some replacement boards and the rope providing the "handrail" was missing in some places - not a problem for adults, but if you have little ones like us be careful with them. Overall the home was very nice, comfortable, nicely stocked kitchen, and well furnished - not so nice that we had to worry about the kids breaking something expensive; which made it easier for grandpa and grandmother to relax. If you have a large and diversely aged family like us, I would recommend the home to you.

We had a great stay at the Big Beach House! There was plenty of space indoors and out for 6 adults and 7 children. We loved how secluded we felt but still had easy access to the beach via the boardwalk (it may look long but it was less than a 5 minute walk). The kitchen has plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans and even a separate pantry that includes a stand-alone freezer. In addition to each bedroom having a full private bathroom, there's a powder room on the first floor. There are playing cards, a few board games, miscellaneous sand toys and so many books! Outdoors there was a charcoal grill that we used multiple times per day. The kids loved eating at the breakfast nook in the kitchen and the adults enjoyed all of our meals at the large table on the porch. The screen porch is huge! The porch and the private pool area are perfect. Despite cool and windy weather these areas allowed us to spend time with each other while enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. Loved this house and can't wait to go back! Other items you may want to bring: aloe (you burn quickly on the white sand), extra dish towels, garbage bags and tweezers for pulling out splinters (the boardwalk, pool deck and porch are all wood)

We love the big beach house, we have stayed there 6 times over the last 7 years.(didn't get to last year,due to everything going on). Great location and a short board walk to beach, however the boards on the boardwalk can use some repairs. We love sitting on the enclosed porch, some fans need work on,very wobble..I don't care for the parking, curve is way to narrow, and yes I have got stuck and had to get a tow out. Way to many lightswitches, don't know what most of them turned on and off. Our family loves coming to the Big Beach House and looking forward to coming back next year! Thanks, The Seib's.

Great Views!

This house has amazing views with two screened porches on the lower two levels and another porch on the third level. There was plenty of room for fourteen adults and two small children. The house is renovated and has the original wood floors which was great for us allergy sufferers. The kitchen has two dishwashers, two ovens, gas cooktop, a full size refrigerator, a wine fridge and an ice maker. There is also a full size freezer in the pantry. It is also fully stocked with dishes, cookware, slow cooker and utensils. There are pots large enough to boil large quantities of shrimp, pasta... Each of the six roomy bedrooms had a private bath. There is a sleeper sofa in one of the bedrooms on the third floor. We had six cars and there was plenty of room for parking. You have a short private drive to the house and then you park your cars by the house. It felt private and secure. We did not use the private pool because it does not have a heater and it was too cold. The pool has full sun all day so I'm sure it would be fine in the summer. The private boardwalk was awesome and the beach was not crowded. You are little set back from the beach and we enjoyed watching the birds and bunnies from the screen porch. Our favorite thing was hanging out on the HUGE main level screen porch, kitchen and living room area. I would highly recommend and we will be returning!
