About Drift Inn 2
This home features three large bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one common and one private in the master suite.
The designer of the home took full advantage of the stunning beach front views by stretching the full living space along the south, beach front, wall of the home. This created breathtaking views from the spacious kitchen, dining area, and living room.
Your family will love the fully equipped kitchen that offers a small bar for extra seating or for laying the perfect buffet style meal. The kitchen offers beach front views from the window over the kitchen sink and out through the dining area.
The living room also offers beach front views and is open to the dining area. You will enjoy watching the game or an evening movie on the modern LCD TV.
The real place to be in this beachfront cottage is relaxing on the south deck. This large partially covered deck offers a spot for everyone. An ingenious, two level design places the railing out of your sight line so your view of the beautiful gulf coast is completely unobstructed. Enjoy basking in the warm sun or relaxing in the shade with the breeze in your hair.
Covered parking is located under the house and is fully concreted and lighted.

We had a great time! Short walk to setup on the beach. Great view from the deck and inside the home. In the past we have rented beach houses that the A/C was not that great. The A/C worked great at this property.

I've never stayed at a property this close to the beach before. The back porch boasts an unimpeded and beautiful view of the ocean and the length of the living, full of windows, also showcased this feature. Marine activity was abundant with plenty of dolphins playing/spraying/jumping in the distance. This was such a cool place to relax and spend time with family.

Truly an ideal location in the beach at Gulf Shores. Great deck with a deep overhang-so you can enjoy the sun or shade with a beautiful view of the Gulf. Best response from a management company I have ever experienced. Everything was clean and as advertised. Probably need to replace sofa and loveseat. A wonderful, wonderful vacation!

Harris Vacation Rentals has been the easiest, friendliest, most responsive company I have ever dealt with. Reservations were very easy. When we got to the property, there was smell of urine in the area rug in the sitting area. While we didn't bring any pets, I'm sure this is not an unusual issue. We called Harris and within 15 minutes, Rick was here. He removed the carpet, swept, vacuumed, and left Febreze. It's already much improved. He also showed us how to turn on the outside water. Thank you, Rick and that you Harris Vacation Rentals.
We stayed at the Little Egret and it was everything we could have wished for and more!!! The house was beautifully upgraded and modern and it was very clean. It had everything we possibly could have needed in it and it was very comfortable. The private pool was amazing and the views were the best of any on the island. Harris was quick to respond with a minor issue with the garbage disposal. We will definitely stay again!!!

Great open space in kithcen/dining/LR, which opens onto a spacious upper deck that quickly became command central for us. From morning coffee to evening cocktails, or just a mid-day break from the beach, the deck was the spot. Kitchen has everything you'd ever need. bedrooms and baths were roomy and clean. covered parking was huge with the heat. great restaurants and gold all within an easy 15-20 minute drive (tops). and the property manager was always available to help. Nothing but great things to say about this home, the location, and our stay.. Love it, and We'll be back!!!!

The rental property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. We were very happy to use the beach chairs that were available with the rental. Communication was prompt, and we had no problems at all with the keyless entry.

The house was a little small for our group of 10. But we made do and had a great time. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is really well stocked. You can't beat being right on the beach, sunsets were beautiful. I would stay here again but with a smaller group.

It was small but really nice. The biggest thing that impressed me was how well stocked the kitchen was, the last rental we stayed at barely had anything and what they had was rusty, not so with this rental. The couch was super comfortable and the bed as well. The only thing I would change would be to add a gate to the stairs to make it even more pet friendly.

Can't beat the location of this house... it's *right * on the beach! Not a lot of high rises around either so there's not too much traffic. Yet you're still close to everything. House was great too. Loved the new kitchen! Has everything we needed! AC worked great. Views were amazing. This is our new vacation home!

Perfect Beach Bungalow

Partner + dogs enjoyed our week long stay on the beach. As other reviews mentioned, there are some quirks with the house but good to hear it's being updated over the winter. With that being said, it was exactly as described in terms of setting the right expectations. Everything we needed was there, and you can't beat the view and location. Minutes to town and great restaurants all while still feeling secluded on our private beach. I think it would be helpful to share with potential renters with pets that Gulf Shores Beach does not allow dogs on the actual beach, but of course plenty of other spots to explore and walk the dogs. Overall, we wish we could have stayed longer and absolutely adored every minute of our stay.

We rented this house last year and again this year. The price was a in our range and the location is great! The house could use some updates. There is a very soft spot in the floor between the bar and table area. I was always afraid it may cave in. Overall our trip was great and the rental was ok.

It was clean, beach access and patio great. We walked so much on the beach. Lots of room for the family. The kitchen has so much equipment, I think we couldn't cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner. Only improvement, there wasn't cabinet space for our groceries.

The property we rented for 5 weeks more than met our expectations. Most importantly it was very clean and being right on the beach made it a very special stay. Direct uninterrupted view of the Gulf

What a great Christmas we had and our stay at the Drift Inn 2 certainly contributed to it, greatly.
From our initial reservation inquiry to our departure, Harris Properties has been professional, engaging and very helpful.
Upon our arrival, the house was well staged, clean and inviting. It was the perfect size and perfect location and we would easily rent this house again.
The kitchen (to my surprise) was fully stocked, as someone that loves to cook, i was a little worried until i started opening up the cupboards and found everything i needed. One small glitch with the coffee glass carafe missing from the Coffee maker, but that problem was quickly remedied within 12 hours. A vacuum cleaner, broom, Washer/Dryer all came in handy.
All the appliances including their air conditioner worked very well and having a DVD player was very convenient.
Being able to sit on the deck and have morning coffee or afternoon cocktail with a direct uninterrupted view of the Gulf, make our year ! The location was perfect close to the pretty much anything we needed.
Thanks again and we will be recommending Harris Properties to our friends and family.

My daughter and I stayed a few days at this wonderful home away from home. This is the place for t-shirts and bare feet! We had a fantastic view of surf and sand from the living room and kitchen; and, the deck sits closer to the beach than neighboring homes...we felt like we were sitting on the beach! We enjoyed all the amenities of home as we soaked in the view and sounds of the waves and evening thunderstorms. We will definitely stay again!
