Welcome to A Turtle’s Pace! This beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home located in the prestigious Morgantown community is the perfect place to take it slow and make your vacation dreams come true! With access to two pools, tennis courts, and multiple beach boardwalks, A Turtle’s Pace will be a treat for the whole family!

About A Turtle’s Pace

Located in Fort Morgan’s beachfront community of Morgantown, A Turtle’s Pace is a brand new 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom beach home that offers guests the perfect opportunity to take it slow and enjoy a relaxing family vacation. This home is just a short walk from Morgantown’s 3 beach boardwalks for easy access to the beach. The nearest beach boardwalk is approximately 0.3 miles from the home, about a 5 minute walk. Also nearby, are the community’s 2 pools and tennis courts. Morgantown even offers a kiddie pool for the little ones to enjoy splashing. After a day at the beach, guests can look forward to relaxing in comfort and style! A Turtle’s Pace offers ample outdoor space to enjoy from the shaded area under the house, to the large covered multiple level decks. A newly installed open air outdoor shower, charcoal grill, and picnic area offer guests plenty of comforts on vacation. Take in the sunset and enjoy the gulf breezes!

Inside, the spacious home can accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably. It’s also Pet-friendly for up to 2 dogs with associated pet fees so furry friends can join the fun. The main floor living area features a comfortable sectional, the perfect spot to cozy up and watch a movie or enjoy conversation with guests in the open kitchen. The dining area offers seating for 6 at the table with an additional 4 at the bar. In the kitchen, guests can enjoy all the comforts of home while on vacation including small appliances, cookware, dinnerware, and ample counter space. This wide open area on the main floor is the perfect space to enjoy a relaxing evening.

Also on the main floor are 2 of the homes 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king sized bed, TV, balcony access and an attached bathroom with granite countertops and a tub/shower combo. Bedroom 2 is also located on the main floor and features a queen sized bed and TV. Upstairs, the landing area features a small pub table, perfect for a game of cards in the evening. Bedroom 3 features a queen sized bed, TV, access to the upstairs balcony, and a private bathroom with a walk in shower. Bedroom 4 features 2 sets of twin bunk beds to sleep 4 guests, a TV, access to the balcony, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

About Morgantown

Morgantown is a lovely residential community located in Fort Morgan. Guests staying in Morgantown will have access to two community swimming pools, four tennis courts, and three boardwalks that provide direct access to the beach.

About Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

Very friendly neighborhood! House is perfect fit my family of 5 plus our 2 year old Labrador comfortably! Was super happy to get a house that allowed our dog to come! Had a small problem with fire alarms but maintenance was quick to respond. Internet was a little slow but that was okay. Would stay again!

The house is in a quiet neighborhood. Great spot for a family vacation. It is conveniently located next to both pools. There is a bit of a walk to the beach, which was hard for the older people in the family, but not too bad for us or the kids. I would highly recommend this location. The staff that I contacted were very friendly and helpful with everything

We stayed at "A Turtle's Pace" and loved every minute of it. Our house definitely met and exceeded our expectations. We were a short walk to the beach and even shorter walk to the pool. The house came with all the necessities! We will definitely be staying here again the next time we return to Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan.

We enjoyed the house, it was a short walk to the beach which was great for the kids. The Wifi was super slow but that was expected from the notes before arrival, it wasn't a big deal. I would recommend this property!

Stayed at A Turtles Pace over Thanksgiving, and it was a great relaxing time. Got a bit too cold to use the beach the way the kids had hoped, but the house gave us a good home base to relax with family, play games, and do puzzles. It was a great location, decent beach access, and the Morgantown community has some good amenities we just didn't get to take advantage of this time. The house was stocked with all the things we needed for the stay, and there's a DG just a few minutes away for all the things you forgot to bring. Comfortable place overall, we'd definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved this home. Nice neighbors, good place to walk the dog, and a short walk to the beach. This is our first time to stay in Ft. Morgan. I can see us staying here again. Check-in/out was so easy. This house was exceptionally clean and stocked with the appropriate essentials in the kitchen. Unlike other places we have stayed where the dishes and pans were a hodge podge of items! I love that there was a coffee maker and keurig AND the electric griddle was an added bonus! Thank you Brian for making this a memorable relaxing trip for us!

Excellent Property

This is a really nice home located just a short distance from the beach. Very comfortable for our party of 6. WiFi is not the best but we found power cycling the devices provided a boost in performance at times. Another complaint in other reviews was the bugs. We got around that by entering through the bedroom door. Was not an issue at all at night. Would definitely recommend and would use this property again next year if available.

We really enjoyed our stay at Turtle's Pace. For anyone with an infant, there was a perfect spot in the upstairs bathroom to put a pack n play. Very clean, right across from one of the pools.

Fantastic! From booking to the communication all the way up to check in we could not have asked for a better experience. Not to mention that this was all playign out through mulitple hurricanes, executive, mandated evacuation orders and tons of uncertainty. Harris Vacation Rentals was the "calm" before, during, and after the storm. The property was everything and more as advertised and we will ONLY use Harris Vacation Rentals for our Gulf Shores "getaways!" Thank you for your exprtise, professionalism but most importantly your communications!

Loved this property - the aesthetic, the location, the quietness of the neighborhood! It was perfect for my family. There is plenty of space and all the amenities listed were accurate. My family had a wonderful quiet week on the beach. I would rent this property again in a heartbeat! The few things that I would recommend - bring a fan if plan on using the bunk bed room because there isn't a ceiling fan and it's a little warm at night and there is internet but plan on using a hotspot for consistent access to WiFi. Also, the grass around the house seemed to be overgrown but there were other house that looked similar so it might be how it's supposed to look.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Turtles pace. We had three different families, ranging from a two year old to a 70 year old. It was accommodating for all and very spacious. We took a ranger down because it is quite some distance from the beach. The close proximity to the pool is also very nice! We stayed beneath the house and cooked at night and enjoyed having an outdoor shower. The kitchen was fully stocked. My only suggestion to the owner is to keep the grass weed eated around the home due to furry friends wanting to peak through the grass to check in on the fun! We had a great time and the price was very reasonable! We plan on returning!!

House was beautiful, we loved the big open kitchen. The location is perfect, it took about 5 minutes to get to the beach walking. There is a lot of mosquitos around the house since it is surrounded by some standing water, make sure to bring extra bug spray.

Great Gulf Shores Property

This was a fantastic property. One of the cleanest I have stayed at. Great location at the entrance of the neighborhood with a short walk to pool and the beach. Something to note if you bring your family, there is no sidewalks and the cars driving through seem to drive pretty fast through the neighborhood regardless of people walking. The house is very spacious and has a great setup for the rooms. The only thing I would recommend is add a few more things as a starter pack to staying in the house. I am already considering staying at this property again next year.

We had a wonderful vacation here. The beach house is decorated very nice and tastefully done. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of silverware, dishes and cooking utensils. The house is located in a quiet area very close to the larger pool. We rented a golf cart and I'm glad we did. The beach access that allows parking for cars and golf carts is too far away to walk. There is a beach access at the end of the road that is within walking distance. (with no parking) But if you are like us, we carried so much with us that we needed to be able to park at the beach. Riding bikes around the community was a lot of fun too. The pools are nice and very pretty at night with all the lights. You do not have a beach view from the house, but the view is still nice and there was always a wonderful breeze on the decks. We loved the outdoor shower for cleaning up before going inside. I would definitely stay here again. Very spacious and a nicely landscaped community.
