Located just steps from the beautiful white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, A Walk on Sand stands tall and offers beautiful views of the beach and bay from its multiple levels of covered decks. Everything about this brand-new luxury home points to the perfect beach vacation for groups of up to 20 guests! Located on a quiet street in picturesque Fort Morgan, A Walk on Sand is only a few seconds walk to the beach! In addition to easy beach access, guests can enjoy a private pool with chairs and a sundeck just off the back steps! There is plenty of shady space under the house to grill, play games, or just enjoy the gulf breezes! Walk on Sand features a private charcoal grill and a fish cleaning station. After a day at the beach or a swim, enjoy the sunset and salt air from one of the homes 4 covered decks with plenty of seating. There are endless opportunities to enjoy all the beach has to offer from outside this gorgeous home!

Inside the home, wide open space is the theme. A unique floor plan allows for living areas on both the first and second floors. On the second floor, guests will notice the beautifully appointed and decorated living space, with floor-to-ceiling windows and plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the view or a movie on the large Smart TV. Conveniently located off the living room is a half bathroom. The living area flows into the dining area with seating for a crowd at the table and the bar, where guests can enjoy dinner with a view from even more windows! Enjoy cooking a meal in the pristine, modern kitchen with granite countertops and a double oven. Also on the second floor are two master suites. Bedrooms 1 and 2 both feature king-sized beds with gorgeous gulf views, wall-mounted Smart TVs, deck access, and private bathrooms with walk-in showers.

On the first floor, there are 4 additional bedrooms and a living space/lounge area with a kitchenette. The first-floor lounge area features comfortable seating, a large Smart TV, unbeatable views, and even an arcade game! There is a convenient half bath off this room as well. Also in the lounge area is a kitchenette, perfect for kids or to use as an additional storage/prep area for meals! The first floor also features 4 additional bedrooms. Bedroom 3 features two sets of queen bunk beds to sleep 8, a wall-mounted Smart TV, deck access, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Down the hall, Bedroom 4 features two sets of twin bunk beds to sleep 4, a wall-mounted Smart TV and shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with a tub shower combo with bedroom 5. Bedroom 5 features a king-sized bed with wall-mounted Smart TV and deck access. Bedroom 6 features a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a king-sized bed with wall-mounted Smart TV, and deck access.

About Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

It went really well. The house was very clean and well stocked with dishes and towels. The appliances were new and in very good shape, too. The house was well liked by my children and grandchildren and was very close to the beach. The view from the house of the beach was especially nice. The pool was heated and clean and was actually serviced by a pool company while we were there. The grand room on the third floor was set up perfectly for our group and numbers.Everyone loved the house and the beach.The house is three stories off the ground, but there is an elevator as a convenience to assist going in and out. The only hesitation was that the elevator locks were very unforgiving in that, if the doors were not closed properly, or promptly, you could not access the elevator because it locked itself. Actually, a good thing for safety but with little grandkids this requires diligence by parents to make sure the kids have not left them open. If you have to walk to the third floor there are 39 steps to get there. (Experience).We would rent this home again and look forward to returning there. Thanks for everything

The house was very nice and roomy. The pool was great to have also. The kitchen was probably the best stocked in any rental I have booked. The only issue was it had lots of ants in master bedroom and 2nd floor bathrooms.

A Walk In The Sand is a great property. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the ac units keep it nice and cool. Our family choose it bc of the elevator as we had our 90 year old parents along w grandkids 5-11 who enjoyed the pool. We look forward to our next trip to Ft Morgan!!

We stayed at A Walk on Sand and had a fantastic time. We had 6 different families from ages 1 to 91, and the house was perfect for us. The elevator made it super convenient for our grand mother to get up and down the stairs, and made bringing in all the luggage and groceries much less cumbersome. The walk to the beach was super short, and the pool was well maintained and cleaned when we arrived. Communication with the property managers was easy and efficient, which was much appreciated. If I had to point at one thing that could have been better, it would have been to have another full sized fridge on the 2nd level to make storing all our drinks and food a little bit more convenient, but it was a wonderful stay and we will definitely consider staying here again!

This home was perfect especially for a large group! There was plenty of space and breathtaking views. Clean, this home was the cleanest rental I've ever been in. The out door space was amazing and with multiple outdoor showers to rinse off with. Alot of thought went into this home and It was perfect. Having an elevator was a plus for my elderly grandmothers. The beds were amazing too and we all slept so comfortably. Just wished I'd looked at the brand of mattress so I can buy one for myself! It felt like home but in paradise. I will definitely come back. Thank you for opening your home for others to enjoy.

We loved staying at Walk on Sand. It was very spacious, nicely decorated, and the kitchen was fully stocked. The only thing that I feel would have improved the stay was an extra refrigerator. We were party of 20 that stayed a full week. We did a grocery pickup the first day we arrived for the entire week, (3 meals a day worth of food) and we had to really work to get all the food to work in the fridge. Overall it is great house!

This was a great house for our vacation!! We had 4 families (8 adults and 12 kids). The house was steps from the beach and the pool was wonderful to have when tired of swimming in the ocean. The only down fall was the guy located behind us was kind of a jerk. He flashed his flashlight at us at 10:30 one night for being too loud. But for the next 3 days starting at 7 am and lasting until 3 pm he had either a leaf blower or a generator going and a construction crew building a new deck.

Spring Break 2021

We had a great time and the house was beautiful! We had 15 people, 3 families, that came down from a cold and dreary Michigan to enjoy some warm weather and recharge! The closeness to the beach was awesome, the amenities in the house were perfect. It is a little bit of a drive to local shopping, however, definitely recommend eating at Sassy Bass which is only a couple of miles from the house! We would definitely stay again!

Spring Break 2021

We had 4 families with 8 adults and 9 kids and the house fit all of us with no problem. Every family had their own bathroom with a couple to spare which we find to be very important. The house had a great big area downstairs under the house where everyone could hangout and play games in the evening. Although not right on the beach it's a very short walk. The beach isn't as big as I've seen so you get to the water in about the same time as a lot of houses right off the beach.

We really enjoyed this property during our stay! There was tons of extra space and lots of things to do. We were very impressed with the kitchen too. The elevator broke once but the repair man was out within a day to fix it. Everything was perfect and we cant wait to come back in the future!

We had a wonderful Memorial Day trip! 4 long-time best friends, 3 husbands, 1 fiance, and 6 kids enjoyed our stay at Walk on Sand. The house was perfect for our 4 families! The beach was beautiful, as was the weather! The kids enjoyed playing in the waves and hunting for sea shells. The pool gave us a nice break from the craziness of the coronavirus. Private pool and lots of room!

If you're looking for the place that has it all, this is it. 1/2 block to white sand beach, private heated and chilled pool. We only had issues with the elevator and ice maker on 2nd floor bit management company is rock solid and got it all fixed next day. Ice maker was never connected to water source. Elevator had a wiring issue. Kitchen is huge and plenty of room between it and the small fridge on 2nd floor for 4 families of food. Beds are all large and so are the rooms. For those that need high pressure showers, stay on the 2nd level not third. The shower heads are around 10' and trickle down but it's very relaxing. Beach is beautiful and so are the views from the 3rd level. Pool was perfect temperature all week with a good amount of sun. Lots of parking for up to 5 cars if needed. Home includes some water toys for kids as well as a bags game. We have stayed at many location and this is one we will absolutely be coming back to.

The home, Walk on Sand, was beaufiful and perfect for our family of 17. The outdoor balconies were comfortable and quite enjoyable. The kitchen was fully stocked with the right amount of dishes, utencils, pots and pans. But could have used some dish rags instead of a sponge. The on-site laundry was much needed and appreciated. The pool was great for the grandchildren, and the walk to the beach was short, beautiful and not at all crowded. And definitely enjoyed by all. The elvator was an added luxury as I am recovering from a broken anke. The A/C on the main floor (3rd floor) broke on day three. We were very dissappointed in the time it took to get a repair person out to the property (8 hours) Otherwise, the staff with Harris Properties, were awesome. A shout out to Lenetta, Ashley, and Susie. You were great when I called with concerns or questions. Thank you and we will definitely use your services again.

This house is beautiful! Brand new construction. It was perfect for four families with kids and it's a very short walk to the beach. The pool was a great alternative for the kids who didn't want to go to the beach. Well stocked kitchen and comfy beds! We will definitely be back
