Spacious house, clean, ideally located, well equipped kitchen. Management very response to issues. Deck could do with an update.

I appreciate everything, and plan on using Harris for anything we do in the future because of it.

Harris Vacations was magnificent and easy to deal with during our stay. We didn't really hear from them because we didn't need to. The home was exquisite. We were beach front and the home had a pool. Nothing went wrong during our stay and the home was beautiful and clean. Check out instructions were easy and not burdensome.

First time staying and was extremely happy with the place. It was so much bigger than we expected. Would definitely recommend AWAY TIME to anyone. Just steps from the beach made things so easy. Will definitely be coming back soon.

This is our third time staying here and I couldn’t be happier! I wish I owned this house. The view is unbeatable. The house is perfectly set up so you can see the beach from everywhere. Clean, fully Stocked, and room for everyone. I will rent again and again. I love you avocet.

Was an amazing time for the beach life. Very roomy, comfortable and very clean house. Would rent this place again hands down. Only thing would be nice to have hand rails going up the steps from parking area to the house. Other then that amazing place and worth every penny.

Our family of 7 stayed in this house and had everything we needed. It was very clean and well stocked. The photos don’t lie. It really is right on the beach. We had a couple of questions and they responded quickly. We will definitely use the Harris Group again!

We haven’t been able to take a family trip for over 3 years. We finally decided this years spring break was the year. We looked for places from Pensacola through orange beach. Then this one popped up and it was just perfect! The house is right on the beach with a pool and a view! We can say enough about how wonderful the house is, the pictures don’t do it justice. Was clean and obviously plenty of space for just our family of 5. We are definitely looking forward to our next years spring break and highly recommend this property!

Check in was very easy. We had plenty of room for everyone. The beach access was fantastic as no dunes to walk over. We are planning next year's trip and would love to return to AVOCET!! Thank you for having us!

We had a dream trip with a couple other families. The beach was perfect the house was comfortable (including the beds). The tv area was great for a big crowd.

We had 8 adults and 8 children age 4 months-9 years old and I can't explain enough how perfect the place is for watching kids at the pool and the beach from the kitchen, dining room and the den and screened in porch. We plan to stay at the same place next year. Thanks

Perfect location and ideal layout for a beach house!

The house was very nice and accommodated our family well. The pool was awesome for the small children and the view of the ocean from the kitchen and dining room area was so relaxing. We saw dolphins and while in the ocean we did see three small sharks. And of course jellyfish were close by as well. After staying in such a beautiful and relaxing home like the Avocet, we won't stay in another hotel for our beach vacation again. Lol So nice to not have to share our pool with strangers. And wait on an elevator with hands full of beach chairs and umbrellas. We did have to call for maintenance on a couple of occasions. The deck lights and plugs weren't working on the deck area, some of the spindles around the deck are loose. My three year old grand daughter was holding on to one coming down the stairs from the screened in porch and it gave away and she almost fell. Just concerned for other small Children. Also the upstairs shower started leaking onto one of the beds downstairs. And the plumbers had to cut a hole out in the ceiling over the bed. It was a broken seal in the pipe. We did tape a trash bag over the hole. And not able to use that bathroom for the remainder of our stay. And on Wednesday night our code to the door wouldn't work after dinner. We called in and waited about fifteen minutes for a call back, we called another number and the lady on the phone gave us another code. But all is well. The maintenance team were quick to respond to all the problems. Also we did see a couple of big roaches in the kitchen area. That needs to be addressed quickly. All that said I still would recommend The Avocet to anyone looking for a great vacation home. We will be back!

We loved this house!! Loved the layout, plenty of room for a large family stay. Right on the beach and the pool was great for the little one. Highly recommend.

A beautiful vacation home! It was a perfect setup for our large family vacation. Beautiful views of the beach from the dining area. Loved the screened in porch. Our grandchildren especially loved swimming in the pool and then running right to the ocean to play. We watched dolphins every day, saw fisherman catching sharķs and stingrays. We all had a great time!

Avocet was amazing and worked perfectly for our large family! We really enjoyed the views from the house and the private access to the beach. It was a relaxing and wonderful vacation. If you plan on doing your own cooking at the house, be sure to bring everything you need to prepare the meals, other than the pans and dishes. There are no oils, spices, aluminum foil, ziplock bags or condiments available. You will also need to bring your own paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, washing machine pods and dishwasher pods, as there are limited supplies available. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

The property was great and had everything we needed for our gathering. Would highly recommend it!

Beautiful house and view!

We booked here after we had travled from Virgina and expedia had overbooked our condo. It was just my mother and I in this giant house but we had the best week! We definitely were living large! I cannot say enough great things about the house or the agency renting it! This has been a once in a lifetime vacation for my mother and I.
