Welcome to Chacahoula, a 6 bedroom/6 bathroom home on the Ft Morgan peninsula that will comfortably sleep up to 14 guests. This direct beachfront, pet-friendly home has been under remodeling since Hurricane Sally. Chacahoula will be available for rentals in May of 2024. We are updating the temporary photos as the remodel progresses and will have professional photos once the repairs are complete.

About Chacahoula
This multi-level vacation home sits directly on the beach in Fort Morgan off of Ponce De Leon Court. Chacahoula is a custom-built home and the architecture and details are one of a kind.

The home is set up as the following:

1st floor:
Master bedroom with King bed and attached private bath (standing tile shower and separate tub) located on the SW side of the house with access to the south balcony. Custom built-in shelving/closets. with an attached office area. Sleeps 2
Guest bedroom with King bed located on the SW side of the house with balcony access. Its own detached bathroom is in the hall and features a tub/shower combo. Sleeps 2
Guest bedroom with two XL twin beds located on the NE side of the house (no balcony access). Its own detached bathroom is in the hall and features a standing shower. Sleeps 2
Guest bedroom with 2 sets of bunks (this is the "kids" room). It has 2 balcony access points and its own private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Sleeps 4
The walk-in laundry room is located in the hallway.

2nd floor:
Beautiful kitchen on the west side of the house - large island/bar and balcony access that will have an outdoor dining table.
Large sitting area/living room in the middle of the home with all views of the beach. The dining table sits north of the sitting area.
The media room is located on the east side of the house. Will have built-ins and a TV area.
Guest bathroom located off of the media room.

3rd floor:
2 south-facing King bedrooms identical to each other with balcony access. Sleeps 4, 2 per room.
1 sitting area with a TV.
1 shared guest bathroom with a tiled shower off of the sitting area.
Underneath the house: you can access the beach by walking downstairs from the 1st-floor hall, this area is enclosed and will have 1 fridge and ice maker.
2 exterior showers that are enclosed, 1 shower off underneath the house.

About Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

Rental Policy

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes. However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older to reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25. We have no exception to this policy.
