With your pick of outdoor spaces, including a screened porch facing end-to-end Gulf-front views, this classic gem in Fort Morgan is beachfront vacationing as it’s meant to be. Bring a group of up to 6 guests to a breezy 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath beach house with plenty of room. Don’t leave your pup at home – this rental is pet-friendly as are the beaches in Fort Morgan! This home’s exterior lights are turtle-friendly (non-white), too. 

About Driftwood Inn

Wherever you are in the house, the Gulf takes center stage. Wake up in one of TWO beachfront bedrooms and take in the views of the water. Even better, both of these bedrooms have sliding-door access to their own private deck with Gulf views! A nautical-themed third bedroom features two twin beds and an attached half-bath.. Two full bathrooms include a master with a walk-in shower and a guest bath. Sandy after a day at the beach? Not a problem. Just step into the enclosed and totally private outdoor shower and get clean under the blue skies. At dinnertime, the stocked kitchen provides all the appliances, pots, pans, cookware, and dishes your group needs to cook and eat. Feast together in full view of the Gulf on the screened porch with a table for six. After the meal, load the dishwasher, then stick around for a game of cards and a spectacular sunset show. On a rainy day, there is a second dining table for six located inside. Watch a DVD in the living area TV or stretch out on the sofa with a good book. Thanks to the open layout in the living space, everyone can spend time together and do their own thing, too.

Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, The Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes.  However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25.  We have no exception to this policy. If you are found to not be in compliance with this policy, you will be immediately evicted from the premises without a refund of any amount.

Driftwood Inn is a great place to stay in Fort Morgan. The home is large, clean, well decorated, has plenty of kitchen supplies which is often rare in vacation rentals, and is pet friendly (the beach is also pet friendly). The spacious outdoor decks are great for relaxing after a long day on the beach. The screened in back porch is great when needing a break from the sun or rain. We had all of our meals on the back porch. This is our 3rd time to stay at Driftwood Inn and it will not be our last.

We have stayed at Driftwood Inn on Fort Morgan twice, and we have enjoyed both of our stays! The house is very nice and has plenty of room for big families. We love the porches, and the view of the beach and ocean is great. We love staying on Fort Morgan because it is more quiet and less crowded than some of the other nearby beaches. Driftwood Inn is conveniently located to Sassy Bass and Tacky Jack’s. We have been booking with Harris Vacations for eight years. They provide great customer service and have excellent houses to choose from!

We love the house Driftwood Inn. It is always extremely clean, beautiful, the porch and porch swing is a favorite of ours and the fact we can bring 3 dogs is just the greatest thing ever, because it's one of the few houses that will allow three. The little outside dog potty area is also a must for us, instead of taking three dogs down stairs on leashes multiple times a day to potty they can just run down to it. The house inside is decorated beautifully. We've rented multiple homes in Fort Morgan and it's by far our favorite. The beds in all of the rooms are extremely comfortable with very nice mattresses. It has a very nice, comfortable home feel to it. 5 stars!!! I am super picky and a clean freak, I have never been disappointed with the cleanliness of Driftwood Inn! The Anderson Family

We loved the accommodations, the decks, the screen porch and especially the puppy gates at each entrance, and even the fenced area for pet's business. The home was in very nice condition on the interior, but could use some minor repairs to the exterior. Overall, loved the stay, loved the location and will likely return in the future.

We brought our kids to the beach for spring break. It turned out it was a great way to get away and reflect on the beauty of God's creation. The house was wonderful. It gave us plenty of space for meals , games and movie time. We enjoyed the screened in porch although I was glad we brought an out door insect repellent. It made the space a fun place for a lunch break from the beach. The kitchen was well appointed with all of the dishes and tools we could need to make our meals. With social distancing in place we made our meals at our beach retreat. The last day of the trip the beaches were closed but we still could see and hear the waves crashing while we played card games. We felt blessed to be temporarily insulated from all of the chaos that was going on around the world with Covid 19. Thank you Driftwood Inn for a wonderful family time.

Great Getaway

Overall the place was fantastic. The rooms were clean, the view was amazing, and there were not a lot of neighbors this time of year. The only issues we had were with the internet (some of us still had to work at times) the internet was erratic and after the 2nd day was out completely. But other than that the house was amazing and we will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Time!

Had a great time at the Driftwood Inn. The view is magnificent, everything was s described. Would definitely rent again / recommend!!!! Just a few minor issues. 1.The mattress in master bed needs replaced. 2. Back door deadbolt is broken and unable to lock door. 3. Laundry dryer has issues. Sometimes it starts sometimes it doesn't.

Cool house on the beach!

Loved the house my friend and I stayed with my dog I have come down 5 years in a row. This is the first year we were directly on the beach and loved it. The house was clean, and we had plenty of room. I was able to do some fishing out in the back yard. Overall it was a great time and we will be back next year Thanks again. Paul

What a great week! Loved the quiet beach and the dogs who played there. It was reminiscent of the beaches 50 years ago before the developers moved in. The house was perfect- old style beach house with modern amenities! We slept with the porch doors open to the sound of the surf and a great nighttime breeze! Great beach rental

Driftwood Inn is one of my favorite Harris properties out of the three we have rented in the past 6 years since using Harris. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and linens were plentiful and of high quality. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you could possibly need. It may appear as though you don't have much storage space in the kitchen, however, all it takes is a bit of re- arranging of the many dishes, and our 10 days worth of groceries fit fine. The appliances were also very nice and in great working order. Some of our favorite things were: the screened in porch, plenty of covered parking on a concreat slab, and everything from the light switches to the kitchen drawers were labeled!!!! How convenient! And last but not least, the incredible gulf front view- thanks Harris Properties for another great week! See you next April!! ( Kelly Stedeford- part of the Holly Raley group!).

Epitome of Relaxation

If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy the beach, this is it. The house is right on the sand for those who love to sunbathe. If you like the sights and sounds, but not the sand, the screened in porch is perfect! And if you're like me and prefer the comfy couch and air conditioning, the satellite tv will keep you entertained all day long while everyone else enjoys the beach! And if you need to get away from the getaway, Gulf Shores is right up the road with plenty of fun things to do. So, to sum up, there's something for everyone!

Doggie Delight!

We absolutely loved Driftwood Inn! The house is adorable, spacious, comfortable and extremely well suited to our fur babies. The screened in porch is divine! Love the rockers and the swing. Unfortunately for us, the weather was s wash out. But we were still able to get some ocean watching time from the porch. We were so impressed we booked a week for next year!
