Welcome to Free Bird, a unique 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom luxury home that sits just steps away from the beach in Fort Morgan, Alabama! This home features a unique floor plan, an elevator, covered parking  and two decks to enjoy the views of the gulf! Free Bird is the perfect place for your next family getaway or multi-family vacation that can accommodate up to 14 guests. Free Bird is located in Fort Morgan, offering exceptional views of the Gulf of Mexico. This quiet peninsula allows guests to enjoy the white sand beaches away from the crowds and congestion.

Free Bird is a multi-level home equipped to sleep 14 guests. Entering the home, on the first level is a second living area with a sofa sleeper- sleeps 2, large TV with cable and access to the lower level deck with impeccable beach views. Located off of the second living area is bedroom 2, 3 and 4. Bedroom 2 features a queen bed, TV with cable and an attached, private bathroom. Bedroom 2 bathroom includes a beautiful, granite vanity and oversized, walk-in shower with shower seat. Across the living area is bedroom 3 featuring 2 queen bunk beds- sleeps 4, TV with cable and gulf views. In between bedroom 3 and 4 is a large, shared bathroom with double sinks, vanities and a shower/tub combo. Bedroom 4 also features 2 queen bunk beds- sleeps 4, perfect for the kids of the group! 

Also located on the first level is a half bath and laundry room with a washer/dryer and refrigerator for extra storage. 

Moving upstairs to the main level, you’ll be welcomed by a wide-open floor plan, modern decor and impeccable gulf views. Enjoy the brand new, beautiful kitchen with stainless steel appliances, spacious countertops, bar seating for 4, dining table that seats 8 and access to the second-story balcony. Living area features a large, mounted TV with cable and plenty of seating options, you can even enjoy the gulf views from the couch! The master bedroom is located on this floor featuring a king bed, gulf views and attached, private bathroom. The master bathroom is equipped with a modern, double vanity, large tub and an oversized, walk-in shower. A second half bath is located on this level as well.

About Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

This space was perfect. You could really tell management thought about every detail of what a stay would be like tor large groups. The unit was incredibly clean. The only minor issues were the welcome packet didn’t include our code for entering, there were no cleaning supplies provided (including trash bags), and the cleaning crew was waiting in the driveway an hour before check out. Otherwise it was great. I’d recommend this home to everyone I know!

We come to Fort Morgan every year for our family vacation. This was the best place we’ve had the privilege to stay in, had a great time! We loved being so close to the water, FreeBird was very spacious and was perfect for our stay. We loved it so much, we’ve already booked our stay for next year at FreeBird and counting the days till we can return!

This place was conveniently located across the beach. New appliances and beds were very comfortable. Very clean inside And the elevator was a nice touch to bring luggage up and down. The only things I would have liked to see was a dining table that would Seat 4 Or six people outside either on the deck or Outside in the back. Would have liked to have some cleaning supplies to wipe down counters et cetera. Also would be a nice touch to supply beach chairs. Also be prepared to bring your own salt and pepper And coffee filters although we did get a Keurig the second day of our trip.. We would definitely return here.

We stated at Free Bird for a week and loved it! Very Convenient location to beach access. 20 second walk which makes it easy with small kids and hauling beach chairs, coolers, umbrella etc. Plenty of sleeping space with multiple levels of house to spread out. Elevator was a nice incentive as well to load luggage and groceries. Will definitely be coming back and encourage anyone to book who is looking to vacation in Gulf Shores area.

We had a wonderful vacation at Free Bird. The close beach access was perfect for our family. We have three children under four, so the proximity to the beach saved us on our frequent trips back and forth. The home had the perfect layout for us to cook meals, have game nights, and sleep near our children without having to share our room. The patio towards the back was also perfect for grilling and hanging outside together!

Our family stay at FREEBIRD was amazing! The home design is flawless. The two main floors have separate living room areas and large covered balconies as well. The separate loving rooms worked out great for the night owls and early risers. It was great to be able to sit with an amazing view and look at the ocean during a pop-up rain shower. Would recommend FREEBIRD to anyone looking to vacation in Fort Morgan.

Free Bird was well equipped for our week long stay at the beach! There was plenty of room for our party of 15. The elevator and two refrigerators were very helpful. We loved being able to see the beach from the balcony and the super quick walk to the beach. Even my four year old could walk back and forth to us on his own. Lots of good memories made! Loved our stay!

We stayed with Harris Vacation Rentals, at the home Freebird, for Christmas. It was the prefect house for our extended family vacation. The home was beautiful and well furnished. The views and proximity to the beach were great! It is the perfect time of year to enjoy Fort Morgan. Everyone in our group enjoyed the house, from the youngest of children to my retired parents. HVR were excellent to work with as well. We will stay at this home again in the future.

The house has a fantastic layout and is beautifully decorated, with multiple decks to take in the beautiful ocean views and convenient beach access! FREEBIRD - Just arrived home from a two week stay and to sum it up…beautiful house and great location literally steps from the white sand beach!! The house was exceptionally clean.
