Located in the quiet west beach area of Gulf Shores, Howard Ranch is the perfect place to bring the whole family for a memorable beach vacation! Wake up to the sounds of the waves and enjoy morning coffee on the unique screened porch, or soak up the sun on the sun deck! After a day in the sand and surf, the outdoor shower is a welcome feature!

Inside, this spacious ranch-style beach home boasts beautiful gulf views and sleeping accommodations for up to 11 guests. The open living area features unobstructed gulf views from the wall-to-wall windows, chic decor, and plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy a movie. A living room sleeper sofa can accommodate 2 guests. The dining area offers seating for 8 with additional seats at the bar. The open kitchen with granite countertops features tons of cabinet space, a selection of cookware and small appliances, as well as the same beautiful Gulf views.

Down the hall, the master bedroom features a king bed, TV, Lagoon views, as well as a private bathroom with a walk in shower. Bedroom 2 faces the gulf and sleeps 2 in twin beds and has its own TV. A common hall bathroom features a tub/shower combo. On the other side of the home,  bedroom 3 sleeps 3 in a queen and a twin bed and has a TV and a private bathroom with a walk in shower. Bedroom 4 sleeps 2 in twin beds and has its own TV. A common hall bathroom features a tub/shower combo.

We stayed at Howard Ranch and had the best time. It was our 5th annual girls trip and we loved everything about the house the location and especially the front porch. We are already planning our stay for next year once again at Howard Ranch.

I loved the area. Far enough away from the crowds to have your own little quiet piece of beach. The house was very nice and the beds comfy. I got a very prompt reaponse when I had a question. The only thing I would change is adding a boardwalk to the beach. The dune is a little tough on old bones but we had a fabulous time. We'll be back.

Great beachhouse with great uncrowded beach location. Does have a big sand dune to pull you beach cart over, but no rental is going to be perfect. All of my family had a great time and definitely would rent again. Ed

Kitchen and dining table great for large family. Clean and homey! Loved having the four bathrooms for each bedroom! Would have loved a ramp/walkway from deck to at least get over the dune to the beach. But over all not that bad, we haves worse. Just a suggestion.

This house was amazing. Had everything we needed and the things we did need was communicated to us. I do wish it had a dock that went out to the beach but that really wasn't that big of a deal. It would have made the home an 11 out of 10 though! We would stay here again! Love love love the screened in porch for those rainy days too.

We had a wonderful time at Howard's Ranch. After many vacation to the beach, this is the first time we rented a house. We loved the secluded feel of this home without being to far from restaurants and entertainment. The house itself was perfect. It is very well stocked. The only addition I would make is installing a walkway over the dune. It is very difficult for older people especially when carrying things down to the beach. Harris properties took care of our reservations and we had no complaints. They made everything easy for us

Just wanted to tell you what I posted on Google:Our third time to stay at Howard's Ranch House was even better than previous stays, which were great. During our absence, which was due to COVID restrictions, there were major structural improvements, new painting inside and out, new appliances and furniture, additional and improved kitchen ware, etc. We especially liked the art works' geode theme in the living area. It is quite attractive and well presented, and additionally was a pleasant change from the more routine mermaids and seahorses. We had no problems to report and it was a smooth and most enjoyable week. The house really suits our family's needs and we hope that circumstances will allow us to come again. Congrats to the Howard family for lovingly keeping it in the family!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. Even though we don't cook the kitchen was well stocked and to my delight had a Kuerig coffee maker. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were, the seating in and outside the house was perfect, it was not necessary to purchase more lawn chairs. . The house is perfect and we really want to Thank the owners for sharing there fabulous house. One suggestion: A walk way to the beach from the deck would make it even better. Some of our family found it difficult to navigate the shifting sand while climbing over the dune. We would like to thank your company for making the process of renting so easy. We filled out the guest register but would you please convey to the owners of Howards Ranch how much we appreciate them sharing there beautiful home, wonderful beach, and the dolphin show we watched for two days. Looking forward to doing business with you again in March of 2023

We stayed for a a week at Howard's Ranch and loved it! The location is a bit remote, but just minutes from restaurants and shopping which was perfect for us. The house is large and spacious and beautifully decorated. Having the screened in porch and a deck was perfect for the cooler days and just hanging out. The only thing I would say is that climbing the dune every day to get to the beach was difficult for my elderly mom. This isn't a good place to take someone that has limited mobility that wants to get on the beach. That said, we loved it and would definitely go there again.
