About Little Egret

Located directly on Gulf Shores’ tranquil Little Lagoon and just steps from easy access to the Gulf of Mexico, Little Egret offers the perfect spot to relax and enjoy all Alabama’s gulf coast has to offer. Fish or take a swim from the brand new pier or relax year-round in the brand new heated pool! Plenty of outdoor space gives ample space to relax around the pool, on the deck, or in the shade under the house. The new pier and the private heated pool make this waterfront home a true oasis!

Inside, relax in the comfortable living area with plenty of comfortable seating. Enjoy a movie or just the beautiful view of the lagoon. The dining area offers the same beautiful views to enjoy over dinner. Prepare a meal while overlooking the water from the kitchen, which also allows direct access to the deck. 

Little Egret offers 3 bedrooms, each with their own Smart TV, and two full bathrooms. Bedroom 1 features a king bed, Bedroom 2 features a queen bed, and bedroom 3 features 2 sets of bunk beds, both twin over full, to sleep 6. Bathroom 1 has a tub/shower combo and bathroom 2 has a walk-in shower.

Guests at Little Egret will also enjoy on-site laundry and complimentary Wifi. Little Egret is pet-friendly for up to 2 dogs with additional fees. 

**Pool heating is a seasonal amenity. Not available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.**

We visited with our dog Pelham for a vacation in Gulf Shores. Clean and comfortable house with its own pier and private pool, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. We're already looking forward to our next visit to Little Egret!

Nice house, floors easy to sweep up sand and dog fur. Nice fenced in area for dog to 'go'. Beautiful sunsets. Unfortunately neighbor's using their deck kept me out of the pool. Did 'fish' a live crab out of the pool - which then scampered to the lagoon. Dogs loved swimming in the lagoon. Loved watching the pelicans.

This property was perfect for us as a family. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock in the back of the house and the heated pool was a nice addition as well. It's just far enough away from all the commercial stuff to be nice and quiet and without a ton of traffic, but still close enough to have a short drive to almost anything you could ask for. A short walk to the beach was great as well. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed this property. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 and it is the perfect property if you are bringing a dog. The deck and fence is set up to be able to easily let your dog in and out without having to worry about them running off. The property was nicely updated. A little more attention could be paid to the cleaning. I am pretty particular and there was some details missed. Overall it was a great stay.

This property met all our expectations!! It was perfect! Having the fishing dock was a huge hit.The views of the lagoon was spectacular & everyone had so much fun fishing on the dock. It also has a little beach area that the kids could wade into the water & discover the ocean life. I would recommend this property for any family.

All of the 5-star reviews were what made me choose Little Egret for my family's vacation - I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! We had six adults, one 2-year old and 2 small dogs and the house was perfect in size and every other way. It's even cuter in person, was extremely clean and had everything you needed on the inside. But the outside - this is where Little Egret blew us all away. The views of the Little Lagoon (especially the sunrises and sunsets) were breathtakingly peaceful, there were lots of birds to watch fly around, the wrap around porch had the best breezes, the backyard was perfect for kite flying, the tiny beach was just right for a toddler, the pier was the best spot to watch the sunrises & sunsets and fish but the feature my family just loved was the private pool! Little Egret also provides chairs, barbeque pit, fishing poles, beach chairs and pool toys & floats (see the picture of our cutie). The location is perfect because it's past all of the Condos in a much quieter, family type area. The walk across the street to the beach was just as short as described and having your own spot was fantastic. Little Egret was so perfect (sorry for over-using the word but it's spot-on) for our family's vacation and far exceeded all of our expectations! We'll be back next year and hopefully every year after making memories!

It had everything we possibly could have needed in it and it was very comfortable. The private pool was amazing and the views were the best of any on the island. Harris was quick to respond with a minor issue with the garbage disposal. We will definitely stay again!!!

Our family has traveled to the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area many times. We've always stayed in a condo and this was our first experience in a house. We loved our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to make a wonderful vacation. We appreciated having beach chairs to use so we didn't have to purchase those on our arrival. We loved the location of the home as it is much quieter than the condo area. The views out the windows are lovely and we enjoyed relaxing in the pool.

Little Egert is a wonderful place to spend a vacation. It is attractive and offers lots of privacy. We have stayed here for 3 consecutive summers and booked for next year. The only problem I have encountered is that the front shower door in the hall bathroom is fixed in place, making it extremely difficult to bathe small children I have requested that the door be replaced with one that moves. In the past the owners have been accommodating, so I am hoping this problem will be remedied. Little Egret serves as our summer beach house. The private pool is so relaxing

Our family had a wonderful time at Little Egret. The location was divine - the lagoon and pool were perfect for our young children to play in while we weren't at the beach. We are avid fisher people and caught pompano, whiting and two Spanish mackerel on the beach side. The sunsets over the lagoon were gorgeous! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We will be coming back to Little Egret!

This property and ownership is amazing. We had everything we needed! I would like to thank the owners and cleaning staff. Everything was working and so CLEAN!! Communication was great before, during, and after. The house was super clean and well appointed. Great pool and view/access to the bay. Beach is a short walk across the street and down a few houses. The deck boards are a little rough and need replaced, but someone was there measuring to replace them while we were there. Owner is very attentive to the property. Will definitely stay there again.

Great stay in April

The house was nicely redone and very clean. Worked well for my wife and 2 kids (5&2) and another couple. They have their own little beach on the bay and sunsets from the porch are gorgeous. The walk to the gulf beach is short and well worth the 5 minutes. The neighborhood is residential so you have a ton of space all to yourself. The pool is really large for a beach house with lights for the evening. It has a deck in the shallow end and bench in the deep end so you can swim, relax and chill all day. This was a great spot.

We had a great stay at Little Egret. The house was just perfect for our family of four, and being able to bring our dog down was great too. The house was clean, well updated, bathrooms were great, but the heated pool was the best part. We had a few cool days, but the kids were still able to swim. The salt water pool didn't dry out out skin and hair either which was nice.

This was a fabulous place to stay for a small family. The pool was perfect. A large ledge for sitting in then another ledge at the deep end all facing the lagoon was very enjoyable. The beach was just a very short walk across the street and it's a beautiful beach. The house itself was perfect for our needs. The only thing I would recommend to guests is to bring mosquito spray. They were very bad during Labor Day weekend. Not sure if they are that bad the whole season but you couldn't be outside for a minute without getting a bite unless you were in the swimming pool. We would rent this house again.

We loved the location of being on the bay and across the street from the ocean. The pool was big and so nice and clean with heated water. The owners have everything you need at the house. Floats, beach toys, fishing poles, beach chairs, games and puzzles, a Ninja blender, and plenty of cookware and tableware. House is older but funiture is newer and in good shape and carpet was in good shape. Nothing fancy but was perfect for our our 6 year old twins, us, and grandparents. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Little Egret. The pool was refreshing after a day of walking at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our seafood. Sitting on the balcony porch and watching the sunset was my favorite feature.
