Marvel by the Sea

We rented Marvel by the Sea. It is a fabulous house with everything we needed. It was in a perfect location, beds were comfortable, rooms spacious, and amenities perfect. We are a family of 12 on our first trip to Gulf Shores.

My daughters and I just stayed at the Marvel House. I can’t say enough great things about it. The house was spotless with very nice furnishings. The pool was very nice since the ocean is definitely too cold to get in. It is in a very nice, convenient location. We are already wanting to return to GS and will definitely be staying here again. I have nothing but positive things to say about this house!!

I want to make sure I let you and the owner know that we really enjoyed our stay. There are no areas that I remember need any current improvement. The decor, location and setup were perfect. It was a family thing with kids, their spouses and grandchildren and all were extremely happy with the choice. Please pass this along and we will keep this house and Harris in mind when planning the next beach excursion.

The Marvel house was a huge hit for our grandkids!! We loved the house its layout and set up!! The pool is awesome and the walk to the beach is not bad at all. We would definitely rebook this house. We will book it again in the summer and have that experience will more activity. Can say enough good things about it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Marvel-by-the-sea. The warmed pool on the balcony was a hit with the grandchildren. I even served them bruschetta and hot chocolate poolside after an afternoon on the beach. The 7 year old caught his first mackerel, with pinfish, pompano, and flounder being caught all around us. The location, layout, and ambience of the house fit us well. Thank you to the owner and to Harris Vacations for a great post - Thanksgiving experience!

Great vacation home and response from Harris. We requested our pool be heated and paid the fee and the pool was warm just a couple hours later. House was clean and looked exactly like the photos.

Marvel by the Sea- Loved the Marvel theme. Great space, super close to everything, the A/C was great the beds were comfy with comfy pillows, a comfy bed and pillow is a big plus for me :). The only con is there is no boardwalk to the beach and if you have children and things to carry it's a hard walk.

Enjoyed the stay. Very good location. Restaurants close by. Great value. Would stay there again.

We took a group of friends with 10 kids and had the best time. The house was amazing and clean. The hosts were very easy to get ahold of and the location was perfect. It felt like we had our own private beach. Highly recommend

We had 6 couples of family and friends stay here for the week along with our 2 boys (3 & 1) and it was perfect for everyone. Plenty of space for game night. Only “complaint” would be fridge space and the need for ice. We brought coolers to help. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The knives were pretty dull, but again, this place was great and we had the best time. Rooms were fun, my son fell in love with the jeep bed which made nap time go a lot smoother. Would recommend this place to anyone with a large group wanting to be on the beach and have a pool. 10/10

5, we loved it! Everything was amazing. Our only 2 recommendations would be to add more lighting outside by the pool and to fix plug ins in the bathrooms. We threw breakers all week trying to blow dry our hair. We found out if you turned all but one light off in bathroom then it wouldn't throw the breaker. Everything was so neat and cool how it was decorated, we watched a few themed movies this week!

Loved everything! The decor was great, design of the home was perfect. Easy to walk to the beach or enjoy time at the pool with all the comforts of home.

What a great location and an even better property. Fully furnished and seems as if it’s a new property. There is nothing you will want or need here that’s for sure. Television in the living room was a bit confusing but other than that it was a top notch place to stay!

Great beach front home with heated pool right on the beach! Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Fun whimsical decor. Very few negatives. Not enough seating for all the beds. Seating in living room is pretty uncomfortable. Wing table is really in the way and not very functional.

The house was great and communication with the manager was easy. They were great.

Marvel by the Sea is a beautiful home with lots of amenities for a family trip. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of dinnerware, cooking pots and a family-size refrigerator. Bedrooms and bathrooms were bigger than we expected from the pictures. Best of all was communication with Harris Properties. They were so friendly and helpful every time I had questions. The best rental experience we’ve ever had in Gulf Shores.

We had the best time sitting on the beach. Used the pool even though it wasn't heated. No colder than the ocean.

ENJOYED TRMENDOUSLY. IT SAYS SLEEPS 20,NEED MORE SEATING FOR DINING AND RELAXING.OTHERWISE GREAT!

The perfect space for our group of 12! Roomy and right on the beach.

The sleeping accommodations were perfect for our group of 12. We wish there was a pantry, but we utilized the open shelves and the bar height table. The parking was plentiful, too. The Master bedroom (Ironman) has curtains that don't cover the doors so if anyone wants to sleep in a darker bedroom, the curtains need to be wider. The beds and pillows are so comfortable that all of us said we slept better while we were there. We couldn't find instructions on how to use the two tvs at the same time. that would have been nice since we are SEC fans. Overall, it was MARVELous!

Gulf Shores family vacation was excellent!

We enjoyed our stay at Marvel by the Sea. The bedrooms were spacious, many king size beds and private bathrooms. The second living area was great for the kids and everyone loved the private pool!! The location can’t be beat and Harris Vacations was wonderful, we will definitely contact them again for our next family vacation!!

This is the best house we have ever stayed in! Hopefully we will return next year. We had 2 infants with us and the bedrooms were large enough for a pack ‘n play for them to sleep in. If you are going to this house this summer just a few things- the kitchen stuff was average. I should have packed more of my pans. We had a crowd and could have used 2 refrigerators but we made do with coolers. Surprisingly the ice maker was able to keep up with our crowd. There is a gas grill - we were expecting charcoal. Loved our visit!

Marvel by the sea was a perfect place for our family of 12. Very clean and well stocked. We truly enjoyed the easy convenient beach access, As Marvel fans we found the home beautifully decorated. One suggestion would be to add a light to the pool deck, this would help with enjoying the pool in the evenings. Best place we have stayed in years and look forward to coming again.

Great place, we really enjoyed this property. There was plenty of room and very clean. Really enjoyed the beach access. We are already planning to come again.A light on the pool deck would be nice for time spent outside in the evenings. There was also a lot of people coming from across the street through the property to enter the beach even though it was posted private property. Felt a little uneasy about our belongings in the garage area. Being Marvel fans we really enjoyed the home decor very nicely done!!

The house was incredibly clean and new. Slept 5 couples and 3 children with plenty of room. The individual rooms are extremely big compared to other beach homes in GS. Washer/Dryer upstairs and downstairs which is nice. Pool was clean and heated. Will be booking this house again next year.

Great home right on the beach! Perfect location and close to restaurants and stores. Look forward to staying there again!
