Tucked away on the sandy shores of the Gulf of Mexico, Point Clear A is a duplex property that enjoys scenic, secluded, and uninterrupted gulffront views. Each unit can sleep up to 8 guests, so renting both together lets you bring an unprecedented 16 people along on your Gulf Shores vacation!

Inside Point Clear
The airy living room area looks out over the beach, as does the kitchen and its full array of appliances and countertop space. Further inside of the open floor plan and its oceanic touches, the guest suite comes with a private full bath. And those lucky enough to stay in the master suite will have access not only to a private full bath but a private beachfront balcony as well. Equally spectacular beachfront views can also be seen from the spacious open-air deck—perfect for beginning or ending your day with the dazzling sight of a Gulf Shores sunrise or sunset.
This duplex has a shared driveway that can fit 2-3 cars per side.
A Lovely Backstory on This Property
Point Clear A and B have easy beach accessibility, and the property is also located close to several other Harris Properties vacation rentals, including Catalina, Bellingrath, and Fountain of Youth. For those traveling with larger groups of family or friends, booking one of these vacation rentals in addition to Point Clear A and B can be a great solution to keeping everyone close together during your vacation without sacrificing space, privacy, or comfort to do so.
This charmingly serene beach house is owned by Becky Harris, who first named the home after the Point Clear bayside community just south of Fairhope, Alabama. Point Clear always held a special place in the hearts of the Harris family, as it was an idyllic destination where they would drive up on a Sunday morning to visit the Grand Hotel, indulge in the hotel’s renowned breakfast or brunch buffets, and then ride bikes together and take in the scenery.
Beyond Point Clear A and B, Fort Morgan has a number of wonderful activities and attractions in store for you. The old Fort Morgan Historic Site pairs history and exploration as visitors step into a military base that once played an important role in our country’s history or hikes around the surrounding area. You can also set off on a boating adventure at Gulf Shores Marina or the public boat launch. The marina also offers boat and boat slip rentals, as well as a fishing pier and bait shop. Additionally, there is another fishing pier in Fort Morgan not attached to the marina.
Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, The Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes. However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25. We have no exception to this policy. If you are found to not be in compliance with this policy, you will be immediately evicted from the premises without a refund of any amount.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at point clear A. The location was perfect, with beautiful beach access right off the front porch. The house was clean and well maintained and was a great setup for our family of 8. The property management was super responsive when we arrived and didn’t find a crockpot in the kitchen. A brand new crockpot was dropped off on at the door the next morning. We loved our stay and will likely be back for future vacations!

My husband forgot his glasses that he had just bought and was able to call and they are supposed to be being mailed to us. Point Clear A in Fort Morgan. We loved this place. The actual duplex was just okay. But the location was fantastic!! We want to rent if not this one again, another from Harris in this area. The top bedroom's view was from a dream. The bathrooms were just okay, with the shower rings being curtain rings so they don't pull well/ at all, and I also couldn't get hot water from the top bathroom. But those are out only complaints! Stayed for 4 nights and it was amazing.

The stay at Point clear A was great! At the time of booking, we were terribly concerned wondering if having neighbors so close by could be a bad deal and kept doubting this arrangement but we could not hear anything from the partB house despite of sharing a wall. i think the clause in the rental agreement to keep it peaceful works very well for both sides of occupants. Staff texted us and kept checking on us and that was a nice surprise, wish we were aware in advance that we could be directly be in touch with someone as we were quite worried about the tornadoes which ripped thru TX n Louisiana. The rooms were very airy and fresh smelling. The kitchen was very well stocked w kitchenware. silverware was top quality! Restrooms though small were fully functional and everything was in good condition. We wish there were 2 lounge chairs on the beach front patio instead of 1 lounge n 1 regular chair

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and and had plenty of room for our family and just steps from the beach. The check in was easy. I personally loved the keypad entry. No keeping up with keys. The only thing we wish had been different was parking. There just wasn't enough room and a little trash and debris in the sand under and around the house, I'm guessing it's still there from Sally, but we managed.

Everything was nice just as pictured. We stayed for a week for Christmas on the beach with our family of 3 plus our golden doodle. Had enough room for the entire family, kitchen was fully loaded and we were able to cook each day plus our Christmas Dinner with friends! We really enjoyed our stay at Point clear A. We loved that we could just walk off the deck and be on the beach!! The condo was spacious enough for our three families! We have stayed with Harris Properties in all of their properties over 6 years and have never been disappointed. The places are well kept and are beautifully decorated, just like being home! Brian and his staff are very friendly and willing to answer any questions you have. Our fur baby loves the beach and we are very thankful someone realizes they are family too and let's them come with us on vacation. I would definitely recommend Harris Properties to anyone! The location and amenities at this property were exactly what we had expected. This was a wonderful place to be with the family. We liked that it was outside of the city and tourist areas. Another Memorable Vacation

Another year, another week of vacation that was absolutely wonderful. We have stayed with Harris Properties for many years and we have never once been disappointed. The weather was beautiful and my furbaby loves the beach, she always looks forward to our coffee on the deck early in the morning watching the sunrise over the beach! If there was anything I would even suggest that you change, I would suggest maybe considering putting a gate on the back deck to not only keep small kids safe but to make it more enjoyable for our furbabies so when we are on the deck, they could be out with us.

You cannot get any closer to the beach than this! We had an amazing vacation and did not want to leave. The only suggestion I would make is get rid of loungers and low chairs on deck and get four captain type chairs. Better view a little higher up!

I would recommend Point Clear A. Walk straight down the steps to the ocean. There is nothing fancy about this place, but when you have the beach at your steps you don't need fancy furniture, an extravagant kitchen, or high priced décor. It was perfect for my family. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here and I will be staying here again.

We had plenty of room and a great view of the beach when we wen't on it!
As for future stays-we will make it a point to make reservations with Harris Properties next year also. This is the second year we have stayed-last year we were in Point Clear B.
Our only problem was the ice maker in the refrigerator did not work and we had to go buy ice. The dryer did not dry our beach towels either. But we hung those up to dry. Overall, those are minor problems to deal with.

Even though its a duplex, the neighbors weren't a bother at all and your couldn't even hear them next door. We will definitely be back and will be recommending this place to others! We had a great time in spite of the uncooperative weather. The house was as expected, clean and comfortable and not "over done". Pet and kid friendly, didn't have to worry about breaking anything. We had plenty of room and having a bathroom for each room makes the unit great for multiple family gatherings...no one has to share a bathroom. Kitchen/Living area set up was great, kitchen was adequately equipped. We were worried about noise given that the unit was a duplex. That was not an issue, we couldn't hear anything from the unit next door. The way the deck was set up also provided privacy for both sides. Location can't be beat, out the door, down the steps and you're on the beach. Reservation process was easy.

Great Stay!!

We rented both Point Clear A & B. We stayed from Wednesday, May 23rd through Wednesday, May 30th. We had our daughter's wedding on the beach Saturday, May 26th behind the house. At one point we had 16 people staying in this house, 5 in another Harris property next door, Fountain of Youth, and 6 in a Harris property a couple of miles down the same road, Splash.
This house was perfect for our visit. Everyone fellow-shipped and ate at the Point Clear house for most meals. I would highly recommend this property and Harris Properties to everyone who wants a family friendly vacation. It may not be the most fancy and updated house on the beach, but I guarantee it is one of the best bargains for your money.
