Sun Dogs Cottage

Stayed at Sun Dog's Cottage from December 23 - 27, 2024. The is the second time we have stayed at Sun Dog’s Cottage for Christmas. The first time was in 2019. The house is just as beautiful as it was then. Very short walk to the public beach access which we love. The house still looks brand new and has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. We appreciate the fact that we can bring our dog to such a lovely home. We never get tired of sitting on this porch. Love the blue ceiling! ❤️

Excellent place to stay! We have been to Fort Morgan many times, and this is by far the best beach house. It is updated, clean, private, and within walking distance to beach. Would definitely come back!

We have been going to Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan area for years.......this house we rented for the week was by far the best one we have ever went to. It was extremely clean, beautiful views, and very roomy and comfortable. We have our next trip already planned, going to book it next week. Sun Dog's Cottage was absolutely fabulous!

We love Sun Dogs. We have been staying there for several years and it just gets better and better. The house remains in great condition, is well stocked for cooking in, and has a lovely open layout with room for all. And, of course, the dog friendly part is so appreciated. Our furry kid loves the beach as much as we do! The only thing that gives us pause when we rebook each year is that the cost keeps increasing. As loyal renters, we would love to see a better discount for repeat bookings.

My family and I couldn't have been happier with Sun Dogs Cottage. Upon arrival, my daughter "moved in" to the room with twin beds, then proceeded to rearrange decorations to suit her liking, sorry if things seemed out of place. Our favorite part was the deck that looks out over the ocean. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner out there, sat out and played games, and just sat there being quiet and enjoying the peace. This cottage was so inviting, my wife and I remarked on the fact that we never even turned on the TV once. When we felt adventurous, we drove 5 minutes down the road to the fort and did a tour. We even went to town one day to play mini golf and ride go karts, only took 25 minutes to get to town. Only regret is not bringing any fishing gear because the walk to the beach took only a couple of minutes. We would strongly recommend Sun Dogs Cottage to anyone looking for tranquility, fun, and a beach experience without the beach price. Thank you all so much, couldn't have asked for anything better.

The porch is my absolute favorite part of this house. I spend early morning drinking my coffee on the porch. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The kitchen is a plus for me as I enjoy cooking and it has anything that you could possibly need. Just a great house.

Harris is by far the most profession vacation rental company we have ever used. We rent houses twice a year all over AL and FL. We always use rental companies. Harris is top notch. Communication and response time is almost instantaneous. We rented Sun Dogs and the house was also in tip top shape! We will use Harris EVERY time we rent in the area!

We have stayed at Sun Dogs Cottage several times and have had a great time while there. It is a great location and close to the beach. Everything was ready for us when we arrived as usual and we enjoyed ourselves greatly. We'll be back for all the same reasons as in the past.

Wonderful place!! This house has it all! We will definitely be booking this house next summer for our vacation. Perfect trip @ a perfect place!

We just had the most amazing experience with a Harris Vacations Property in Ft. Morgan, AL. The property we stayed in was called Sun Dogs Cottage. It was beautiful and the proximity to the beach couldn't have been better for us. The cleanliness of the property far exceeded our expectations. We've stayed with other rental companies in years past and I can say after this experience we'll definitely be returning renters with Harris Vacations. The view of the beach on the large porch was perfect for sunrise breakfast and coffee. Being a dog lover and our only child being a great dane we appreciated this pet friendly property. He felt right at home. We just brought up his dog bed that he rode down here on and he was right at home.
