Sun Dune

Great for a big family. Just like the pictures!

We absolutely loved our stay in the Sun Dune. The kitchen has all the cooking/baking necessities you need. They supply you with a sanple box of soap and 2 dishwasher pods, so you might plan to bring more (same with bathroom needs). Dollar General is just down the street if you happen to forget anything! The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The walk to the beach wasnt bad at all and you walk the majority of it on a boardwalk. The outdoor shower wasnt working upon arrival, but they came out next day and got it fixed for us so that was great and quick! We had the best time staying here!

We had a great time in the Sun Dune house! The kitchen is spacious and filled with all the needed cooking/baking utensils. They provide a small sample of soap and 2 dishwasher pods, so you might bring more (similar set up for bathroom needs). Also bring all your needed seasonings, but if you forget then the Dollar General is just down the street. We loved having the outdoor shower and how spacious the rooms were. The walking distance to the beach isn't too far! We loved our stay!

House easily accommodated 6 adults and 2 children, and we had a pleasant stay. Short trip to Dollar General, but real grocery stores about 20 minutes away. Beach was about 100 yards away on direct route. Direct route had a significant sand hill to climb back to house. Would make reaching beach much easier if board walk would be extended to this house. Also, I don't see how it would destroy rental profits if host supplied more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and more than a single trash bag for kitchen. Overall house was a good rental in a quiet location with responsive corporate hosts.

Plenty of room for a family of 8. Spacious, clean and so comfortable. We felt right at home. The home has privacy and is a short walk to the beach. It is so much larger than the pictures make it out to be. The views from the balconies are just so relaxing. A great place for a morning cup of coffee. We were able to enjoy the firework show without leaving the house. We had some water issues right at first due to some issues with the city but the after hour service line was very helpful and they fixed them asap. We look forward to returning soon.

We stayed at Sun Dune. It was everything we were hoping for. It has plenty of room for our group of six. We loved sitting on our deck looking at the ocean. When we got ready to play in the water, it was just a short walk away. We ate several meals there. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We had the best time with our family and plan to return next year.

Sand Dune was a great house for our family vacation! The GPS took us to the wrong road so beware. The property has trees that give privacy from the next door neighbors. It has a wonderful view of the ocean from the decks. The ocean is a short walk from the home. The only downside is that the hill is a bit steep on the way back to the house. A boardwalk would be a great addition! So pack all you need to avoid extra trips back to the house. There was an umbrella, boogie boards and some sand toys to use. The outdoor shower was nice to rinse off after a day at the beach. The home was spacious and clean. The kitchen had lots of utensils and dishes, etc. The ice maker and beer fridge were a great added bonus! The house did have lots books and DVDs to borrow. There were a few games and puzzles but were older. Overall this was a great house for our relaxing trip. And the beach was not very crowed and made for beautiful family photos!

The view from the back deck overlooking the gulf was breathtaking! The overall layout of the house was great. The kitchen is enormous and well stocked. A/c works great for a very large house. Very peaceful and ample parking. I can’t wait to go back!

Our stay was wonderful! The house is just as described. Kitchen is stocked with every item imaginable. The beds were comfortable with pristine linens, bathrooms were also stocked with extra towels and toiletries. We can’t wait to book our next stay!

Excellent location. As advertised or better. Harris was great to work with on this trip. No issues with cleanliness or availability at all.The only possible issue for future renters is traversing the sand dune which would be a bit difficult for elderly/disabled folk. My boys loved it! The home was clean, spacious, and near the beach. Great rental for families. The owner clearly loves this property.

Our stay with Harris Vacations was everything and more! The house was advertised as pictured and very clean. They were quick to respond to any questions and are caring enough to help our daughter get back her baby stuffed animals she dropped in the driveway! We highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again next year!

We were pleasantly surprised, as the pictures do not do justice to the space available in this house. This was our annual family get together, for the first time our Great Grandson was there for 2 nights That was a real treat. The only issue we had for our entire stay was we were never able to get any power down stairs. It was not a big issue. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for a large family or even two smaller families.

Absolutely beautiful house and view of the beautiful Alabama coast! My family thoroughly enjoys staying here. Looking forward to next year already!!

Our family of five enjoyed all the large common areas. The walk to the beach was easy! The walk back from the beach was a little more difficult because of the steep dune but if you keep your head down and just GO it’s fine.
