Welcome to Tranquility Base! Tranquility Base is a beautiful beachfront home equipped to sleep 9 that is perfect for your family's next family vacation! With beautiful Gulf views and plenty of room to spread out, Tranquility Base is the perfect place for your next getaway. Tranquility Base is exactly what you need for a vacation full of peace and serenity! Tranquility Base is located at the end of West Beach in Gulf Shores and is away from the hustle and bustle of town but close enough to the area's greatest attractions.


About Tranquility Base

Tranquility Base stands tall overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and is equipped to comfortably sleep 9 people. At Tranquility Base, guests will find a spacious, open floor plan and unbeatable Gulf and Lagoon views throughout the home. Tranquility Base features a fully equipped kitchen with lots of counter space, a dining table to seat 6 and enjoy a meal together, and additional bar seating for 5.

On the main level of the home, guests will find 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a queen bed to sleep 2, an attached bath with a soaking tub, a shower, and an LCD TV. Bedroom #2 is equipped with a king bed to sleep 2 and features Lagoon views and an LCD TV. Bedroom #3 is equipped to sleep 2 on 2 twin beds and features an attached bath and Gulf views. On the second level of the home, guests will find an open loft area with 3 twin beds to sleep 3. The loft area is up a unique spiral staircase and is a great area for the kids to stay.

Relax after a long day at the beach on the balcony overlooking the calm Gulf waters. The salty sea air and the calming sound of the waves will surely put the mind at ease! Tranquility Base also features an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off after a day in the sun! Enjoy grilling for a family picnic! Tranquility Base will truly be a memorable vacation for the whole family!

This home and location is awesome- it is close enough to town to be convenient but its location also makes you feel as if you are the only person on your private beach. The beachfront is massive and beautiful. The home is exactly as described, clean and well apportioned with a fantastic new deck. The only hesitancy I have in recommending is you might book the week I want to come back which will be soon

Our family just stayed at Tranquility Base for a week. The location is perfect with very few people on the beach, making it a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The communication was excellent, the house was well stocked with dishes and cookware, games for the family, and an excellent view of the ocean. They are also dog friendly, so even our fur babies had a blast. We will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tranquility Base. It was a perfect location and perfect home for my husband, two college children, and me. The views were beautiful, the beach we had basically to ourselves, and the homeowners thought of everything to make our stay perfect right down to the box fans (which we use for sleep at home) and pitchers for making sweet iced tea. The deck and living area are the two things that sold me. I've booked with Harris in the past, and will continue to use them. They're easy, helpful, and super friendly. Being able to bring my pup with me is important, so I love the quality of dog friendly options they have.

We only stayed 5 nights and the views of the ocean were great. Every day Sunrise and Sunsets from the deck or from the beach(just a few steps from the deck) were beautiful!! Our pet Corgi was also welcomed on the beach every one we met was excepting of pets on the beach and everyone cleaned up after there pets beach was exceptionally clean. House could use some updates but overall I would definitely recommend it to any one who wants a quiet place to relax with a great view and pet friendly. Thanks we had a great time.

Our family of 8 had a wonderful time! The location was perfect, right on the beach! The deck was amazing, the view of the ocean and sound of the waves was therapeutic! Caught red fish right across the street in the lagoon and caught a huge sting ray in the surf. We will be back!

Tranquility Base

First, I would like to thank Lenetta for the excellent job she did in securing the house for our family. As I am sure you know, we did have some issues with the home and Lenetta did a fantastic job of resolving the problem and we were able to complete our vacation. Tranquility Base is a lovely comfortable home. We found the house to be neat and clean. Although we did not cook a lot during our stay, we were impressed with the stocking of the kitchen. Beds were comfortable, and to our delight, we had plenty of space for all of us to sit in the living room. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay and hope to secure a week next March at the same location. Even with the virus pandemic, the beach is lovely and when they were closed we were entertained by a dolphin show for two days from our deck. We thank Harris Properties for making our vacation possible and to the home owners for renting to us for the week. You truly have a beautiful quiet home.
