Welcome to the Beach!
You’re right on the beach. No dunes here to block your view and your own boardwalk gets you out to the sandy beach. Imagine, the kids can roll out of bed and be out on the beach in just a few minutes and the adults in your group can enjoy that first cup of coffee out on the porch, where you can keep an eye on the kids and the dolphins.
Welcome to Comfortable Beach Living
Most importantly, on the beach side of this vacation home, deep porches on both the first and second floors run the entire length of the house, with plenty of seating facing the bright Gulf water. You and your guests will be spending most of your time out on here enjoying the view and the ocean breeze!
On the inland side, your private swimming pool is waiting, surrounded by plenty of comfy loungers. Picnic tables are situated on the shady ground floor, ready to eat all the fresh seafood you can. The pool can also be heated for an additional charge for cool-weather vacations!
Inside your vacation home, the open floor plan means no one will miss out on anything and there’s plenty of room for gathering together. Plus the wide windows and doors let in that gorgeous Gulf light and you can appreciate the view from everywhere in the house. The comfy living room seating will have everyone gathering around when they aren’t out splashing in the Gulf. Free Wi-Fi means you won’t miss out on family favorites while you’re here at the beach. The Details
West of Eden is a non-smoking vacation home, and there are a total of 12 bedrooms and 10 full baths. The dining tables in each unit sit 10 or more with additional counter bar seating in the kitchen. All this ensures that you and your guests will have plenty of room for sleeping, eating, and entertaining.
Each fully equipped kitchen has an extra refrigerator too, so you can stock up on lots of cold beverages and food for you and your guests. You’ll find coffee makers, microwaves, blenders and crockpots, an iron & ironing board, full-sized washers/dryers, and more. If you find you’re missing something, just give us a call, and we’ll do our best to get you what you need.
Several bedrooms boast en suite bathrooms and others have shared bathrooms. Soaking tubs in the main bathrooms will ease those tired muscles after a long day of beach fun. Bedrooms boast a combination of kings, twins, and doubles, allowing for flexible guest accommodations. For specifics, see the breakdown below.
And beachside bedrooms have French doors for direct access to the rocking chairs on the porch. You may not want to leave your bedroom!

We rented both sides of the house and had the best time being right on the beach! Plenty of amenity space indoor and out.
We hosted our son’s wedding at West of Eden and it was fabulous! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting. The beach is gorgeous and the sunsets are breathtaking. It was so special to be able to have both families stay together. Waking up to the sound of the waves from your beach front balcony is a very special treat. Thank you for the memories.

We had a total of 30 cousin over 3 generations, ages ranging from 4.9. to 72. We rented both East and West Side of the house. It was great having 2 living rooms, 2 kitchen with 4 refrigerators between the two sides. There was plenty of sleeping accommodation for all. The kitchens were well supplied. It would have been helpful to have had an extra large capacity washer and dryer, so it wouldn’t take as many loads to get all the towels and wash clothes done each day, but even with that, it all worked out. The location was great, short walk to the beach, close to several restaurants and grocery stores. Be warned if any in your party have bad knees; we did, there are a lot of steps to navigate. It would have been very helpful if our older cousins could have used the elevator. Overall it’s a wonderful place to stay. I’m one of the older ones with bad knees, and by the end of the week, they were aching quite a bit. Unless the owners relent on allowing quest to use the elevator, not sure I will go back there. But it truly is a lovely place. I think if you have a large group without any mobility issues this is the place to be.
Great Location for large families!
I want to thank Harris Vacations for being so great to work with during the wedding process.Several months before the wedding, I booked what I thought would be the perfect house in Fort Morgan,AL. About three months before the wedding Harris vacations reached out to me to let me know that due to a system error the house was no longer available. Before they reached out to me, they already had other options available at a discounted rates. Their customer service was amazing and their staff was a huge help throughout the entire process. We ended up with a bigger house at no extra cost. If you’re looking to go to the beach, definitely check out Harris Vacations!
We literally could not have loved this house more than we did! We had a very large group and we never felt cramped or short on space. The bunk rooms that were attached by a bathroom on the top floor were absolutely perfect for our kids! We had to have said one million times how much we loved the house. Also, location was perfect, close to flora-bama and the beach was fantastic! Last thing to note is that the house is more updated inside than the pictures show. Long story short, we loved it and we will ? be back!

My group and I truly enjoyed our stay. The homes were as described in the advertisement. There was a odor in the home. But was easily rectified with air freshener and a candle. The kitchen was well stocked with the plates, pots, pans and utensils. Loved the fact that we had two refrigerators in both homes since our party was over 30 people. The group as a whole stated they got their steps in from the stairs. Thank You
