Lartigue’s Fresh Seafood has been serving Orange Beach since 1979, started by Paul and Larry Lartigue. Since then, locals and visitors alike have flocked to this unassuming seafood market for their fill of freshly caught Gulf seafood, oven ready seafood dishes, and the market’s own brand of sauces and seasonings.
The menu at Lartigue’s Seafood includes raw and steamed and seasoned seafood, as well as seafood dishes straight out of the oven.
Order white, red, or Gulf shrimp, steamed and seasoned. Mussels, oysters, sea scallops, and lobster tails are all available, raw or steamed. Whole and part crabs, ranging from snow and stone to blue and king, are available steamed. Or, if you’d rather not bother with the crab and just get straight to the good stuff, you can get fresh picked crabmeat in the form of lump, jumbo lump, claw meat, crabmeat stuffing, or cocktail cram claw fingers.
If you’re craving fresh seafood without any of the work of cooking it up, Lartigue’s will do that for you, too. From grouper ceviche, crab cakes, and shrimp scampi casserole, to crawfish pies, she crab soup, and shrimp etouffee, the market’s menu is delicious and diverse.
