S&S Seafood Market in Gulf Shores is a take-out only market located in Gulf Shores that serves up fresh seafood iced or cooked to your order. Call ahead to shorten the wait, then drop by to pick up your meal and take it back to enjoy in the comfort of your own deck overlooking the ocean.
You can order your seafood cooked the way you like it, or pick it up fresh and ready for you to show off those grilling skills. This is the perfect option for those days when you don’t want to get cleaned up and go out, but you still want to enjoy fresh local seafood. Or, maybe your fishing trip didn’t quite yield the results you were hoping for; stop by the market to add to your catch and you can keep the entire family happy with a fresh seafood dinner.
Main menu options focus on shrimp and fish. Get your shrimp steamed (with mild, spicy, or creole seasoning), fried, or grilled. Fresh fish options include grouper, snapper, trigger, and wahoo and can be fried or grilled (your choice of Cajun, blackened or Greek style).
S&S Seafood Market also offers fish and shrimp individual meals that come with two sides. Sides include potatoes, corn on the cob, hush puppies, fried okra, onion rings, or a “mound of fries.” Other menu items include crab cocktail fingers, snow crab, crab cakes, andouille sausage, Conecuh sausage, and oysters (raw or fried). Round out your meal with one of their customer favorites: cucumber & corn salad or smoked tuna dip. Don’t forget to add homemade gumbo, cocktail sauce, and tartar sauce.
If you’ve got a small group to feed, try one (or two) of the family platters. S&S Seafood Market in Gulf Shores also offers catering for larger groups and for those occasions when you don’t want to bother with cooking, but want to stay in.
You can find S&S Seafood Market at 1154 West Beach Blvd, Suite D in Gulf Shores. Hours depend on the season, but are usually from 11am – 8pm, from March 1 through October.
