Newly renovated (thanks to Hurricane Sally), the Perdido Key Oyster Bar Restaurant juts out into the Intracoastal Waterway. This allows a great view of the water and barrier islands of Gulf State Park from pretty much anywhere inside and of course the views while sitting outside even better. Order a cold one, then sit back and watch the boat traffic and the dolphins frolicking as they follow along and the sunsets are amazing.
Seafood at the Perdido Key Oyster Bar Restaurant!
It’s all about seafood. And the Perdido Key Oyster Bar Restaurant doesn’t disappoint. Their house specialties include a Bone-In Pork Chop, Grouper Mediterranean and Pecan Crusted Soft Shell Crabs. Customer recommendations include the Shrimp & Grits, and the Seafood Gumbo.
The Lunch Menu starts off with seafood gumbo or bisque by the bowl or cup, Fried Crab Claws, Crab & Shrimp Cakes, Smoked Tuna Dip, Royal Reds, and Peel & Eat Shrimp among other yummy options. And there are oysters of course – on the Half Shell, steamed, blackened or Oysters Rockefeller. Sandwiches include several po’boys and tacos, plus a burger or two. Fish options are mahi-mahi, tuna, and Gulf grouper, grilled or blackened. And lunch entrees include Broiled or Fried Seafood Platter, Fresh Fish of the Day, and several shrimp, oyster and scallop combos. For those tired of seafood (if there can be such a thing) there is a Hamburger Steak, a Ribeye, Shrimp & Andouille Creole and a couple of pasta dishes.
For dinner at the Oyster Bar Perdido Key, sandwiches are out and even more delicious fish and steak options and fried combos are in. For those sticking with fish, choose from mahi-mahi, tuna, Atlantic salmon and Gulf grouper, then choose blackened, grilled, fried, or broiled. Don’t forget to ask your server about dessert!
