The Shows Must Go On

The 2018-19 show list is no exception to the incredible lineups the theater has put out in the past. This year locals and visitors alike have been delighted by classic plays like Arsenic and Old Lace and The Crucible, as well as stirring contemporary and original works like the End of the Road, The Miracle Worker, and The Pied Piper of Hamelin. The theater prides itself on putting on a variety of plays to showcase all of its members’ unique skills and talents, including family-friendly fare like Disney’s Aladdin Jr. and everyone’s seasonal favorite, A Charlie Brown Christmas. The South Baldwin Community Theater

Performances are generally held once a night, Friday through Sunday with additional matinees on weekends at 2:30pm (varies by production). Incredibly affordable, these professionally produced plays are a delight for the young and old, whether you are a theater buff or just looking for an alternative to a movie at the Cineplex. The charming theater is located in Gulf Shores on 2nd St., between 19th and 22nd Avenues.
